A few thoughts -
Todd for me, not an N Tone. Amanda first mentions James needs to go, later on Todd repeats the same thing, but
now Amanda is concerned about Todd's timing of it. And others see James a threat. Todd is collecting the credit to see James as the threat he is.
Todd pushed for Jean-Robert and played him. That's back to episode one, and Todd looked out for
Jean-Robert. His other issues is to remove James, the other player who can "beat him". Todd got no TC questions, but the reaction with Jaime
couldn't be missed by any viewer. "Hey, we're playing well, Jaime!" Jaime concurred.
Amanda, basically Amanda is creating doubt for Todd. Maybe he shouldn't do this (or do it yet). Maybe this instead. But remember a great quote a few
episodes ago, Todd saying that they have to do what other people want to avoid looking like power players. While some see how strong they are, they ask,
acquiesce ("Hey, Courtney, who should go tonight?") and make a voting consensus.
The viewer is fooled because Todd is tight with James but wants him gone, tight with Frosti in his group while Frosti may still vote with PG. (Right viewer?
Well, Maybe not, psyche!) Todd is correctly concerned about James (and properly counted two challenge wins and two idols gets him to F5. Amanda feels he has a
clear path. Todd is trying to work on that. But in the end, James was included in the JR plan, wasn't he? This is supposed to get us riled up as viewers.
I'll throw in a side wager. Here's Jean-Robert's voting confessional at final TC.
JR - To (3rd member of F3), you didn't play the game as strong, so you won't get my vote. Courtney, you're annoying, and I just
don't like you. Todd, I said I would make sure you were dealt a bad hand with the jury. But you played every card right, and my threat was a bluff. Enjoy
the pot, Todd!
I may be on an off posting today at work, but I am sticking strongly, Todd is the winner. And this episode, OTTN is a joke to me. Todd wanted to stir things
up, three people got votes and viewers couldn't tell if it was James or Jean-Robert. Mission accomplished.
FUN SEASON!
