This show is destroyed by the personal crap. Jack's divorce was incredibly boring. I remember seeing a rerun where the whole episode was Jack dealing with a deposition, nobody even disappeared, it was the worst. The office romance between Sam and Martin (or was it the other guy who looks just like him) was incredibly cliche and boring too. Just stick to the cases.

ITA, IHateHackers2k9.
This show used to have great stories and good writing. Then they fell back on distracting office romances and it just went straight to hell. I quit watching when they started yet another office romance with the Hispanic characters. Meh. |

Yeah, I said this long time ago; I don't want all the personal crap. especially between Sam and who ever she chooses to screw next

James Marsters is going to be joining the show as an agent named Mars. Any relation to Veronica?
Sam will be pregnant, but who is the baby-daddy? Expect a crossover with CSI since the show has moved back to Thursdays. I may have to start watching again. |

I'm surprised they haven't at least crossed this one over with CSI:NY since they're both set in the same city.

I think I've watched all of the episodes since the first of the season.....and unless I missed something, I don't know who the daddy is either. Does
anyone have a clue? I missed all of last season, but weren't her and Martin a couple at one point? When did that end?

I must have been dreaming that I saw previews for a cross-over Without a Trace and CSI. Last week's CSI was a repeat, and I just saw the previews for this
week and yet no mention of a cross-over case.

I definitely saw the promo for the crossover episode after last week's CSI episode. It's supposed to air on November 8 and there was an interview
about it with Anthony LaPaglia and William Petersen in last week's TV guide.

I finally finished watching Thursday's episode which left me somewhat confused. Wasn't the kidnapper/serial killer/copy cat dude the guy from a previous episode that preferred young boys? What's up with him kidnapping 30-ish mothers? |

That episode was actually an old one - it was about the pedophile getting back at Jack for exposing him (the creep) as a pedophile. The original court case
against el creepo was thrown out because Jack took the creep to booking via the scenic route, right by where the kid was being held. Jack had promised said
creep 15 minutes with the kid once Jack knew the kid was okay. Jack kind of played along with having pedophilistic tendencies and sucked the creep in. Once the
trial was thrown out the creep then found a case that had hurt Jack personally (using the fact that Jack didn't save his mom and the final victim in the
old case where he was an hour too late to save the woman) and played off of it so as to try and shame Jack and expose Jack's mom suicide.
I thought the guy jumping out the window was lame but I guess they were looking to tie up some loose ends. Any ending that doesn't involve intense agony for a pedophile is lame to me. |

Let's see.. Jack (after Sam told him she was preggers) responded "Oh, I didn't know you were dating". Not the sort of response the baby's possible father would make. Unless he's a complete cad or utterly clueless about the birds and bees. Which I doubt. So that eliminates him. There have been a couple scenes this season where Sam and Martin have been all alone together. It didn't even seem like there was (or was supposed to be) any tension between them. They could have been, instead, standing next to a plastic plant, that's how much they seemed to give a whooptee-spit that the other was there. So I think that eliminates Martin. Hope they don't introduce this Mars character as the father Sam's baby. Enough with the "drama"! Leave that for the friends / family / neighbors / co-workers of the missing person. |

Sam also had a one night stand not too long ago. The actor was her IRL main squeeze.

I thought she looked like she had her lips done..they looked all puffy
and, the show's only good if you care about the victim.. and, I didn't like Sam going to that guy's apartment..she could have tried to get in touch with him in other means. but , the guy is just as responsible......... |
