Courtney's extreme thinness was featured in a five minute segment tonight on Entertainment Tonight on CBS with a doctor expert discribing her as seeming to
be anorexic. I have not seen Survivor get this much air time on a Broadcast show, albeit SEEBS' own ET, lest we forget, in AGES! They showed shot after
shot of her and also a SERIES of shots denoting her thiness with labels like Day One, Day four, etc. No one else was even mentioned. But the spoiler may be in
the shots they showed of Courtney today. At home, somewhere on a sun deck? Sitting(in a yoga position? At any rate, seated) and looking healthy and VERY happy,
grinning from ear to ear.... Of course, she's not allowed to SAY anything to the camera, not yet, but her EYES said it all. She looked like a total WINNER
to me... And ET said, "Courtney denies that she's anoxeric. She's just thin. She always was" she says, "Her whole family is thin."
And the doctor countered with, "But this is what anoxeria looks like. Plus the contestants on this show are sometimes starving." Boy, SEEBS is
spoiling it's own show now!... Courtney is emerging as the break-out star anyway...And she sure looked HAPPY and HEALTHY in the shot of "Courtney
Today." Spoiler? I think so. What do y'all think?

And I'm sure they are going to run it this weekend on ET when they do their weekly wrap-up. GOT-TO-HAVE-AN-ANOXERIC on EVERY-NIGHT =ET. Their version of a ratings grabber. |

Ooops! Sorry! I didn't see the pre-game interviews!
But they did interview her(off camera) in order to get the quote about her and her family. If they didn't have an anoxeric on nearly EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of ET, well, maybe it really would be a spoiler... It's called a "hook" in media-speak...Meaning they've FINALLY found SOMEthing in Survivor to appeal to their demographic... And they'll keep featuring Courtney over and over and over again, since we all know she's going to get even skinnier! Ugh! |

I'm sorry, but this doctor is analyzing Courtney's body type based solely on her appearance on Survivor? One has to question whether he is making a
medical diagnosis (which he isn't) or a visual hypothesis (which he is). If she is naturally thin to begin with, and it appears to run in the family, then
the only reason for her weight loss is the amount of food she is not able to eat, which the doctor concedes can happen on a show like Survivor. It's
obvious that her weight loss is much more apparent because she starts off thin to begin with, whereas others who have shown siginificant weight loss were
overweight when first starting out on the show.

She is prob that skinny because she only weighed about 90 pounds at the beg of the show. I bet ashley would look just as think if she would have lasted longer.
I dont think Courtney has an eating disorder...they said her whole family is tiny

Courtney was profiled AGAIN on ET and also earlier in the evening on SEEBS's the Insider...Same old, same old...Like she's got this on-going medical
condition(which she denies via her website? "Both my parents are tall and thin..."?) Trying to drum up viewer interest. It might work....
Publicity breeds, well, more publicity. Publicity is oxygen to an aged(by TV standards)franchise like "Survivor".... Hope it helps... Courtney's physique is a metaphor of the state of the show's ratings...IMHO.... |

Yeah they're definitely blowing it out a bit, making their assessments from the TV show, alone. Who cares? She was tested and examined before she left
for China ans passed through-case closed.

none other than Dr. Sean Kenniff. Really nothing of substance, not surprisingly.

Judgmental much? Who are they to call (or should I say imply) her anorexic based solely on her appearance on a tv show where virtually everybody loses weight? Morons. When interviewed, Jean Robert even said that she eats more than him sometimes. Is it a friggin' crime to be thin? If she had health problems, would CBS really be STUPID enough to let her go on Survivor? There's plenty of witty, sarcastic people in this world who could easily fill the spot meant for Courtney. Frankly the fact that she was cast should speak for itself. |

If Courtney were anorexic before the show began filming, I'm sure she wouldn't have passed the physical. Her heart rate and potassium levels would be
all messed up. She would be growing more hair on her body to keep her warm. She would have been very sleepy and delusional during the interview process. I
liken the ET program to Jerry Springer as far as sensationalism is concerned.
