She's shown she has strategy skills. It seems she's being shown as the default winner because Todd and Courtney become unacceptable to the jury.
Maybe the issue isn't a Danni comparison, for Danni played a great game that wasn't shown on television, but was sort of revealed on the Survivor Insider clips.
Maybe the issue is why she isn't given the same kind of edit that Earl got when he faced two unacceptable alternate choices.
This show does not know how to edit women if they aren't bimbos, bitches, or nagging mother figures.
If this show still had a final two, I wonder if we would have had Amanda winning final IC and booting Todd to take Courtney. Several of us, myself included, would probably complain about the best overall player of the season coming in third place again.
I guess this is all part of the MB/JP desire to have the jury have more of a chance to vote between two acceptable winners (like Yul/Ozzy), rather than a predictable landslide against a goat (Katie), or their favorite player of the season not making it past the final IC (Terry).
Funny thing about the final 3 is that you can still have a landslide against two goats (Earl v. Cassandra/Dreamz), and in a final 2 situation, you could still have a choice between two nearly acceptable winners (Colby/Tina).
Why the change to final 3? It had to be that they just really hated seeing their preferred player going at final 3. Assuming they designed the final 3 IC before they knew who the final 3 was, which I do, it was their choice to have an upper body strength final IC challenge favoring a man (S9) or a balancing final IC challenge favoring a small woman (S12). It was probably just so frustrating to MB that his identified player got booted at final 3, he felt he had to change the game.
There's no guarantee is there. In a final 3 situation it is just as likely to have two goats.
What we don't know is if this final 3 with Amanda winning will similar to the Yul-Ozzy-Becky model in the voting or the Earl-Cassandra-Dreamz model.
