Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I am not sure where to post it and I really want the answer.

I have been reading these boards for a long time and don't understand who the "Erika" is that everyone refers to often.

In another thread, Franklinbuth just wrote "Maybe Julie dumped Jeff for Erika Landin..."

I have always thought the "Erika" was Erika Landin from Big Brother, who dates Adam Gentry. Posters are always making comments about how people got on the show or were discovered by her and I remember reading someone's blog about the Big Brother finale where Erika told them she has been working on Survivor casting for a few seasons and she was responsible for most of the China cast and was excited for the season to start. I have been looking at the ASS2 Confirmator and most of the reasons given for people being on the show are "in Erika's friends." I have thought that meant Erika Landin this entire time, but I just read truedorktimes post that says "Speaking of meaningless evidence, the following ex-contestants are MySpace friends with casting queen Erika Shay."

Since I have too much time on my hands and I am trying to figure out which ass I need to kiss to get a spot on this show, I went back and watched the credits of the first episode of Survivor China. Erika Shay is the only name listed for Senior Casting Associate, and then she is listed again as Casting Coordinator. There are other casting credits listed, including Casting Associates (5 names were listed), Casting Manager, Casting PAs, and two more Casting Coordinators, but Erika Landin's name is never seen in the credits under any titles. I looked at the imdb listings for Survivor and Erika Shay is on all of the credits, but Erika Landin is never named as working on Survivor for any season. I checked the credits of a few more China episodes and Erika Shay is always listed while Erika Landin is not once listed.

I have been myspacing with Erika Landin for a long time and now I think it was a waste of time (although she does list her job as Casting and has told me in messages that she definitely does the Survivor casting and can help me out). I searched for Erika Shay on myspace, but nothing came up. Does anyone know how to get in touch with her? And how do you know who her myspace friends are if she doesn't have an account? Or is Erika Landin the one you are talking about?
