And it's the same with any other show, they put subtitles when the HG's are whispering, etc... I really like the HoH twist. The general idea is that the house nominates two people (after an HoH competition) and the person who wins HoH is called to the DR right after the nominees are revealed. The HoH gets to take one of the HG's off the block and replace them with someone of their choice, and the house isn't informed who's been taken off/replaced until the eviction. I still haven't caught on yet as to whether or not taking somene off the block is optional or not, but it's still a really scandalous twist. It was originally Meryl and Jeff nominated this week, but Bertha won HoH and took Meryl off (I guess paying her back for last week) and replaced her with Maureen. So far it seems Tatiana is playing the best game, if I'm remembering correctly, she hasn't been nominated by anyone in any of the three rounds of nominating. She seems pretty solid on getting Lerato nominated.

On Sunday night, while I was up-country and unable to watch, Jeff got the heave-ho. Jeff was the guest Tuesday morning on Nairobi's Capital FM (98.4), as part of the usual post-boot interview circuit. Jeff said he felt he represented Kenya and the Maasai people well on the show. (Which kinda shocked me, as I didn't even know he was Maasai!) Anyway, that's the only thing about his post-boot interview which sounded out-of-the-ordinary, so ... meh. Since I have a horrid internet connection here, I can't look this up ... but ... didn't the Kenyan get the second boot in BBAfrica 1?

My previous attempt at this point was either deleted, or eaten by the dog (a la the old homework excuse), so here goes: This week's nominees (by collective vote of the houseguests) would have been Lerato, Richard, and Maxwell. As HoH, Lerato chose to remove herself from the block, replacing herself with Tatiana. Final set of nominees this week: Richard, Maxwell, Tatiana. Sorry I won't be around to see the boot Sunday, unless I miss my flight!
