Yeah, but it's called "Survivor". The F3 has the potential of putting too much power into the jury's hands... IMO. If the person wins at F3,
he/she deserves to take a pansy to F2.

Of course, if that season had played out without twists and stuff it could have been a much more suspenseful endgame even with the final 2. And all I have to say about your other points is THANK GOD THERE WAS NO FINAL 3 BEFORE COOK ISLANDS. Terry (who was a horrible strategist who was physically strong), Rafe (a moron who would have gone to the final 2 and won if he wasn't an idiot releasing Danni from her promise or whatever), and Ian (who quit the game because he lied to much and got caught and couldn't handle the possibility of losing Tom and Katie's "friendship") would have been no more deserving than either of the two finalists in their respective seasons for the reasons I listed. |

The F3 has the potential of putting too much power into the jury's hands... IMO. Uhmmmmm, that's the point of the jury, they're suppose to have all the power at the end. |

But the F3 ISN'T the end!!! The F3 endurance challenge is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER and you decide who you let make the F3 challenge accordingly.
This new 'system' fucks EVERYTHING up. I seriously hate it... |

It's a TV Show bound to be cancelled within the next 2-3 years, who gives a fuck?!??!

The other thing I don't like about F3 is that it twice penalizes the least vote getter by not giving them a vote to cast either. While I
don't think Becky/Cassandra deserved any jury votes, they should have had at least as much power in the end game as Brad or Lisi.

Well the 2nd place finisher in a final 2 doesn't get to cast a vote either.
Obviously a contestant would rather be sitting in a final 3 with at least a shot at winning a million dollars, than casting a jury vote for someone else to win a million dollars. |

This season was going so great... and then this happened. That was the worst ending to a great episode.

Another reason to hate F3... the possibility of a tie. As in 3-3-1. And I think if I were on the jury, I would throw a vote to the least likely of the 3 to win
just to make that possibility possibly happen.
And oh by the way... I realize the jury has the power to choose the winner... like duh.... but I think F3 gives them "too" much power. I guess I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to Survivor, and like the way it used to be played prior to all the twists and crap. Kinda like hating the DH in baseball. |

Yeah, the possibility of a tie is what bothers me.
The final 2 format is much more elegant - 2 finalists, 7 jurors, 4 votes needed to win. But the final 3 is here to stay. MB and Probst like it, so we might as well get used to it. |

What's so bad about a tie between the Top 2, as long as it's resolved??? =/

Because I don't want to see an entire season decided by a lame fire-making tiebreaker challenge.

Do you really think they'd leave that as the Million Dollar Tie Breaker....

I think Probst said in an interview that's how they would resolve a potential tie.
I hope he was joking though. |

I'd imagine that if there were a 3-3-1 tie, that the person who cast the 1 vote would revote at the reunion show, and would have to vote for one of the two
who has 3 votes. But that's just simply a guess. I don't think they would try doing the fire-making thing, since the show would be live.
