Didn't Lynette go down in the basement and see his "trophy" corner and then told the rest of the hood/police? But when they got there everything
was cleaned up, then his sister died due to all the stress. He saw Lynette in the middle of the night as he was leaving and gave her a creepy smile and said
he would never be caught or something.

That was a very unsatisfying ending to the pedophile storyline. I hated it.Hmm...I'm not sure if they ended the pedophile storyline that way. I'm sure he'll be back in the future...hopefully sometime soon. They just kind of left that up in the air. It can still go either way. Ok, I don't know where this discussion regarding my gender came from? If it isn't obvious...I don't know what is. *scratches heads* Surge is also quite obsessed with Marcia Cross that if anyone said her hair was off, he'd go nuts on your ass and label you as a horrid human being. Who knew? You petulant sock puppet! You don't even know what emasculate means!! This season's been okay so far, but this week's was the first episode that made me say "Now that was a good episode!"Seriously!? This weeks episode? If anything, the 3rd episode (The Game) was an instant classic. The first 2 were def. on par with season 1, if you ask me. So far, all have been solid, but 3rd episode was the standout among the bunch. The 2 after were solid, but, IMO, not on par with the 2 that preceded it. Just my 2 cents. This Sunday's upcoming episode looks to be hilarious. Another classic? All signs point to a HELL YES! If you haven't already, check out the preview on the ABC website. HI-FREAKIN-LARIOUS!!! LoL. |

Agreeance with Surge! This season has been excellent thus far and very close to the greatness that was the first season!

When did agreeance become a legitimate word?

Seriously!? This weeks episode? To clarify for the slow: The one that aired on 10/28. Apparently titled "Art Isn't Easy". As for "The Game", I hated stoned Lynette, but liked her pointing at Edie. That's really all that episode brought to the table.

This is in regards to the spoiler above, but it's not a spoiler.
Is Wisteria Lane really in California? Has that ever been formalized? Granted I missed part of the first season, so I may have missed that too. I always thought of Wisteria to be in "Anytown, USA." |

I always thought Wisteria lane was in a suburb outside of Chicago? Chicago has been mentioned a few times I believe.

I'm not sure why I'm thinking that, could be totally wrong. Maybe they didn't mention LA, but I thought they did. Anyone? Surge will know. |

An interesting read, and a diagram/map! =O
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisteria_Lane Wisteria Lane is located in the city of Fairview, in the fictional Eagle State.[1] Its appearance reflects the stereotypical view of American suburbia: perfectly manicured lawns, rows of comfortable houses and white picket fences. It is the main setting of the show, and it includes the homes of its five leading women - Bree, Gabrielle, Susan, Lynette and Edie - as well as most of the show's other main characters. As of the fourth season, the residents of eleven houses on Wisteria Lane have been established in the show. And from an article from somewhere: Like many fictional locations, fans often wonder where Wisteria Lane-home to Desperate Housewives-is supposed to be. However, don't count on an answer any time soon. "I keep saying, we're not in a red state or a blue state, it's a pink state or a state of mind," production designer Thomas Walsh told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (the blue and red referring to the division of Democrat and Republican states). "It's intentionally meant to be ambiguous where we are. It's the state of American moral and social values and cliches that definitely came out of the postwar Eisenhower America: that nicer, better, safer place we'd all like to be in where there's really nothing nicer, better or safer, where you still have to deal with human nature." The newspaper decided to do some detective work and consult a forestry expert to find out where wisteria, which is often featured in the lane of the same name, could grow. Apparently "New England would be too cold and west of Missouri would be unlikely, too. Wisteria grows most readily in the South, but with some care wisteria could be grown in the Midwest, too." Creator Marc Cherry does apparently have a state in mind, but whether he went down to the detail of thinking where wisteria could grow is unknown.
