I don't, but then I'm usually an optimist anyway.

OMG Tsang Tsung!
The episode was disappointing but I've seen the spoilers so I'm hoping things pick up really soon. I love Zach Quinto but why does Sylar have to kill every character I like?! Isaac, Ted, and now Alejandro :'( |

I like the show, but it feels like the whole is LESS than the sum of its parts. I like the elements individually, except for Nikki/Paolo/Sylar, but am not
really interested in the show overall.

I think they try to cram in too much store and too many characters. For the casual viewer, you get completely lost. I never watched this show from the
beginning. I caught a few of the later episodes and thought it was interesting and that I would eventually understand what was going on. But that didn't
happen. All I got were more questions, like what is an English man doing in feudal Japan and why are all the Japanese acting like they don't notice he is
caucasian?

I want to know more about the truly evil fucks, like Matt's dad.Me to!! I wanna know more about the Company, Angela Petelli and what really happeded to their dad. The only storyline keeping me intrested is the Matt/Nathan and the Nightmare man and HRG(minus Claire bullshit. Damn last year I was begging them to kill Matt off and now he is one of the few characters I enjoy this season What needs to happen Peter needs to get his damn memory back Claire needs to kill douche boyfriend and quit school Hiro needs to get his ass back in the present and reunite with Ando We need to learn more about the Company Matt needs to dump Mohinder and room with Nathan them 2 together are hilarious |

Well, I thought this episode was fantastic. Hiro finally giving into temptation and kissing Yaeko WILL screw up the future, what with Kensei switching
allegiances now. It gives us a reason as to why they've been following this storyline all the time. It's not just a "Hiro goes back in time to
meet his hero" kind of deal now. It actually has significance.
What HRG did wasn't out-of-character. We know for a fact that he did many questionable things when he was working for the Company. You think that now that he's fighting them he'll adhere to all the good rules of morality? He knows how they work, and he knows that if he plays by the rules, they'll get him eventually. If someone's puching you in the face, what's the best way to get them to stop? Ask nicely? Jesus Christ.... It seems like this board is just a place for people who want to bitch. |

Ok, Hiro changing the time line MIGHT make his story important. Still not interesting yet but at least it has potential to be relevant.
LOL at the trick Clair and West played on bitchy cheerleader. I guess I'm just a sucker when it comes to power-tripping bitches getting what they deserve. You know if we had seen Elle show up in Montreal right away we all would be bitching how fake it was that she could track down Peter so easily. I want answers quicker, WAAAH! |

It didn't seem to take long for West to go from never wanting to see Claire hurt to dropping her on steps himsel to make someone believe she was dead. And
it's not like he had to be talked/pushed into it. By all appearances, it was his idea.

This show is lame. It's like they just take two characters and mash them together to see what happens. Hey Nikki. Here's Suresh. Let's see what
will happen now.
It feels like it is going nowhere. The acting has never been the reason to watch this show, so it's always had to be the plot, and the twists, and besides the whole "in the future we're fucked" story line, the rest is just kinda .. boring. Also it seems like I'm watching Season 1 all over again. Oh gosh. Claire shows one person her power, and now she has to keep it secret from the rest of her school. HRG is doing mysterious things and trying to collect paintings that foretell the future. We go into the future and find out the world gets boned. How are we gonna change it? I honestly have no clue why I continue to watch this show, and I personally hate it when I roll into one my favorite show threads and see some whiny Suckster complaining about the show endlessly. No offense to people who really dig this show, but I just can't stand it anymore. What the hell is the point of this show? To bore me into submission. Get it in gear writers! This show could be a LOT better. I think I'm just disappointed is all. Continue. ETA: Kristen Bell's character is annoyingly over the top. I loved her in Veronica Mars, but once again, the acting in this show is just terrible.

They really need to pull back a bit on the "I don't know where to go from here .... I'll paint a picture and follow that" plot device.
It's far too contrived, and such an amateurish way to drive the story forward. I was thrilled when Isaac bit it last season, but no, Peter, the Katamari of
Heroes, needs to keep the ball rolling on this lame idea.
Also, the way they're telling Hiro's story, with Ando conveniently finding more and more notes about his friend's adventure, knowing the order to read them and seemingly taking days (or even weeks?) to figure out what's going on needs to end. As does Hiro's Feudal Japan storyline in general. He was such a good foil to all the other dramatic, over-the-top serious characters in this show, he needs to come back and interact with them some more. Just find a way to bring the Brit back to the present (because that's so obviously what's going to happen) and get on with it. |

The problem is that some of the story lines are more serious then others which is making viewing it all together a rather jarring experience. I'm sure it
will all tie in but Claire trying to get on the cheerleading team just seems silly even if it is painting a bigger story over all.
Her father is doomed by the way. By murdering the Russian guy he sealed his fate just like Issac did last season when he shot Simone. The only conclusion to that story is him ending up dead like in the painting. |

Yeah, him killing the Ukranian guy like that is probably the writers' way to justify Bennett's eventual death.
Which will suck, because he's one of the few characters that hasn't fallen to suck still. |

Right now I'm thinking about Heroes roughly in the same light as I did of Lost in early season 3 -- on the verge of ditching it, which is extremely rare
for me when it comes to series in which I've become deeply invested. Desperate Housewives was the only one in recent memory, at the start of season 3.
I'm glad I hung onto Lost, as it reenergized itself, and I have no doubt Heroes will do the same -- plus, the allusions to the spoilers above, although I don't want to know what they are, are very much appreciated. |

I'm really worried about the continuation of Heroes. It's one of my favorite shows, but the way each episode is chopped into four to five vignettes
makes it very difficult to attract new viewers. "Why is that guy in a futuristic NYC ghost town? Why is that guy is feudal Japan? Eww, why did their
eyes turn black and ooze?" Yeah, we know because we've been watching as it was all laid out last season, but for new viewers? They'll lose their
interest in the first 10-15 minutes. That concerns me. I don't know how they can keep loyal viewers interested while making it worthwhile for a new
viewer to get vested in the characters but they need to work on it.
