I found it interesting that they're starting to give glimpses of how everyone (except JR) really likes Courtney. Leslie adored her. Sherea really liked
her. Todd and Amanda professed their love for her. She's playing a much tighter social game than we're being shown.
Get better Trix! This weather is enough to knock anyone off their feet (at least around here). |

it will be interesting to see what happens with james/idols. they where hoping james would use one of the idols so their wouldn't a 5 vs 5 split come the
merge. i assume they told him where the other idol might be so one of the other 3 didn't get it. plus it buys james's loyalty to them, if he uses one,
and has one. i think once they lost the immunity challenge, they realized james might have 2 idols though.
i think they where planning on james using one to take out jamie, and then probably after the merge blindside him with the other one. that way they ensure jamie/pg/erik didn't get it. |

This is my understanding:
Fei Long wanted to win so that James could go back to Zhan Hu, find the equivalent HII, and blindside the triplets with it at TC, thereby eliminating Jaime. Todd and James assumed that Zhan Hu would continue to want to lose. But the triplets got all sad that Sherea and Frosti didn't love them anymore and so flipped over to trying to win. And lucked out and got just about the only IC they could win at this point. And now with the merge, there's Todd with an HII that isn't H anymore since the only one who doesn't know he has it seems to be Jean Robert. There's presumably James with an HII. And Erik and Jaime apparently with a piece of wood. |

Just to make it clear. Yes Todd found the HII at FL and Amanda & Frosti also know. Todd gave his HII to James and told him where to find the other one.
But the plan to get rid of Jaime did not goes as planned so James now has 2 HIIs. From the show promo Erik/Jaime think James has the ZH HII. I'm sure
Todd will ask for one of the HIIs when the merge comes next week.

I wonder if James will give it back.... The rules have been if it's in someone's possession no one can steal it. There is a"shocking
revelation" at TC, maybe that's it.

A correction, I think- Erik and Jamie pull off the WRONG SQUARE. Erik's saying in the confessional "I think this is a HII"Good eyes! I'm sure hoping they don't figure it out, and Jaime actually plays the wrong one at tribal council. Nothing personal to Denise, but that was lunch lady karma. I'm officially picking Amanda for the winner now. She didn't panic about Frosti finding the idol, and had sense enough to keep her mouth shut at tribal council. Jury members might not dislike Courtney personally, but they won't see her as the ultimate Survivor, either. And as Todd identified, he'll take the blame as the string-puller who got each of them booted. I enjoyed this episode. Not pretty, like we've been seeing up until now, but very entertaining. |

Later, I figure that there are two square piece of wood attached to each side of the arch. The front one is the HII and the back one is just for decoration or confusion. Apparently, the "Fu" HII found by Eric next week is not an actual HII and the "Feng" HII shown in Episode 3 may actually be located at Fei Long camp. You see, there are 4 different squares with different chinese character craved on it, ie, Fu, Lu, Shou and Feng. Fu Lu Shou are tanslated as Three Star Gods in english. I'm not sure about how Feng (wind) is connected to Fu Lu Shou though. More details on Three Star Gods can be found here.

One thing bothers me about the size of the HII. It's so big that it would be hard to hide in the bags they have. So how is James able to hide both HIIs
in his bag. I was thinking that after they pop the thing off there would a small idol hidden in the back (or the Chinese Character would pop out) that would
fit into a pocket. But the message on the back says "Congratulations you've found the Hidden Immunity Idol". I keep thinking there is something
they have not shown us yet. But I'm most likely wrong.

You need to keep them hidden outside of camp, as the Horsemen did. I don't think they liked the rifling through personal possessions that happened in Fiji,
and this was a way to try and get people to not hide the thing in such a public place. The HII cannot be stolen from you, so if someone finds your hiding spot,
they cannot take it and use it.

*raises hand. I love Unagi (a Japanese dish consisting of fried eel). And I love to eat Century eggs. I love 'Pi Dan Zhu' (century egg porridge). :drools

before, the only thing I'd have problem eating is that Mao GeeDan=Hairy chicken egg!
BUT, would we be able to eat those items the "Naked way" they served those survivors, though? 
Chicken hearts would be okay like that, I think PG probably secretly enjoyed it and happy to be nourished by that! Baby turtles needs seasonings also. I need it to be chopped beyond recognition also! 1000 y.o. eggs is not that good w/o soy, sesame and onions. Eels would taste so yummy if it's cooked right- the heads would be crispy and not noticeable. When Jeff said those are just food Chinese people eat as regular meals, I was screaming at him "Then serve them the way the Chinese eat them!".

season)!! You are right, it's Longevity!
Funny how they had the other words written in Traditional Chinese but that one in Simplified Chinese! Well, I know why. That word is particularly busy in strokes! |

Actually, I admit that I'm not very adeventurous. Never heard of 'Mao Ji Dan' before, although 'Ji Dan' is something I eat almost everyday.
:p
And chicken heart (ji xin- which Jeff pronouced rather weirdly, lol, not that I can blame him)- it will have to be cooked for me to actually want to taste it. ;) |
