So those are my choices! Although All-Stars 2 is just a rumor, I'm remaining hopefully, and think that if given the right cast(!!!!!!!), it could really work! For me, the reason that the first All-Stars season didn't work as well as it should have was a crappy cast. There were WAY too many people that didn't deserve to be there...Jenna Lewis, Amber, Jenna Morasca, Big Tom, Alicia, Shii-Ann, Ethan...and it's debatable whether Rupert deserved it. I think he did, based on Pearl Islands (I really liked him on that season), however he was useless on All-Stars, and definitely didn't deserve the popularity contest million $!

Well all stars didn't choose just the most deserving players, but they also chose memorable people. Everyone remembered Alicia and Kimmi's fight from Australia.
And Jenna Morasca definitely deserved to be on the first all stars. She won 4/8 individual immunities, (the most for any female player), won the game, and got the first 6-1 final vote. Jenna was strategic, with Rob, Heidi, Alex and Deena, and when she was in trouble, then she won her immunities. She's also the youngest player and had memorable moments, like the chocolate and peanut butter incident. Also, since Amazon was a battle of the sexes, Rob and Jenna were the best two choices to represent. She also should get some honourable mention for being the only person to give up immunity at TC, making themself vulnerable.

I have to say, you make some good points. Jenna's not my type of player, but I do have to give her credit. The thing that really turned me off on her on S6 was her preaching of "honesty" and "integrity" (two words which are pretty much the antithesis of Survivor), and also her cliquey behavior with Heidi and (what the hell was the other one's name??? LOL!). However, everything I've seen of her post-Amazon contradict that (especially her blogs, which I really enjoy reading)...I think she really meant it when she said she learned a lot about herself from the show. Although she wouldn't have been one of my All-Star choices, I do wish she had gotten a chance to play the game, cause I think she probably would have played very different.

As for Jenna Lewis and Amber though, those two are the ones that I really just don't get. I don't think Shii-Ann, Big Tom, or Alicia deserved it at all, but at least I can understand why they were cast, but to this day, I do not understand what Jenna or Amber did on their seasons to get on All-Stars. Jenna is just like "I was friends with Colleen and I didn't get a tape from my daughters" and Amber is "I'm hot and I did what Jerri told me."...that's all they're bringin to the table, though. I've heard that they were replacements for Colleen and Elisabeth respectively, but I don't understand why they had to be replaced by similar bad KMart-Straight-to-video-versions of them from the same season...it's not like they didn't have enough people from those seasons. Whatever though, I'm done lamenting the first All-Stars and more than ready to start obsessing over the second one! ;-)

I would apologize, except for the fact that I'm not sorry. Far from it.I'm going to be myself, I don't care how it goes over. If people don't like me because I'm upbeat and not so miserable in my life that I take it out on random people on message boards, then I could really care less, but it's not important enough to me (nor is anything) to change myself. People on here want to be obnoxious and jaded, they're the losers...not me.

If I sound enthusiastic/passionate/excited/whatever, it's because that's how I am, heightened by the fact that I'm new to Survivor, and just finished watching every season, having been doing marathons ever since June! (I'll be posting allllllllllllll about Fiji tomorrow since I've got A LOT to say!)

And by the way, I'm incredibly insulted that you would even suggest I watch Laguna Beach! You can be a happy person and also be intelligent...I guess that's hard to believe since it appears that few people here have either intelligence or happiness.

Anyway though, I'm sick of this post being about me, so back to Survivor.........

Fiji was fucking incredible!!! One of my fav seasons ever (along with Pearl Islands, Amazon, Palau, and Cook). I really wanna write about it now, but I've been up all night and have to go get at least an hour or two sleep. Gnight peoples!
