while I agree with the Jokers sentiment to a degree, this is laughable…
This is my JOB. and they are taking money from me in stealing my work. how do you lose money from your already printed article being reprinted? |

Well if it's his site he gets money on advertising. If people don't go to his site to read it he won't get the money.

I doubt it, if someone bought space on his site, they pay for it, regardless of how many clicks it gets. It might not look good in his numbers next time he
tries to sell space, but I'm trying to find the "stolen money" trail from an internet interview.

Ad revenues - per click, per impression, per page view. I'm part of a network of websites, I get a portion of the ad impressions - all traffic brings in
money. If my traffic is elsewhere due to someone stealing my work, I don't get the impressions and page views, my income goes down. It's simple,
really.
And I'm female. (grin) |

gotcha,, I just kinda feel once your work is out there, it's almost not yours anymore. To a certain extent. No debate, just disagree. Sorry abdout the
gender, ya never know on board. :)

i am just posting to say that i very much want this thread to get to 10,000 posts. i figured that even a pointless remark like that would help towards
achieving that goal.

so they're saying that eric is going to be at the nyc bb casting? is he working for grodner or is it more like an appearance? either way, it's great. |

It is great news. It would be awesome if Grodner hired Eric as part of her staff.

Oh that would be great. Good Luck Eric.
BTW, in this NY paper interview, Grodner says there will not be an America's Player this year. I for one am thrilled. Eric's legacy is secure, and the game can go on without America's interference. For 'Big Brother,' the winter of new contentFriday, November 16th 2007, 10:14 PM The writers' strike has CBS ramping up for a new season of "Big Brother." Indeed, the network will be casting for new players here Sunday in anticipation of getting a winter edition of the summer show rolling early next year, should the strike continue. "We have been told by CBS to get ready for anything, so there's nothing that is certain at this point," "Big Brother" executive producer Allison Grodner told the Daily News yesterday. "It is a wait-and-see. We are preparing for anything." New York auditions are taking place Sunday at 243 W. 30th St., third floor, from noon to 8 p.m., and on Dec. 1 at Duff's Brooklyn, at N. Third St. and Kent Ave., from 7 to 10 p.m. "Big Brother" has always been a summer staple, but the opportunity for a prime midseason premiere means producers will be pulling out all the stops. "We really want it to stand out," said Grodner. "We want it to be special, because we've never done something like this before. I promise you it will be different from any other 'Big Brother' you've ever seen." So don't expect another "America's Player," the stunt incorporated last summer that gave viewers a say in the outcome. "That's really hard to do twice," Grodner said. "Anyone coming to be a part of 'Big Brother' this year would know about it and we'd hate to have people act differently because they think that the viewers are in control. ... That doesn't mean that it couldn't return in some other way, but doing exactly what we did again, no." Longtime "Big Brother" host Julie Chen will also be returning to the program, regardless of whether it comes back midseason or next summer. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/2007/11/16/2007-11-16_for_big_brother_the_winter_of_new_conten.html?ref=rss |

Eric needs meds for his nerves. He was so nervous in the house the first few days that every other word was "fucking" and "shit" in some
lame attempt to be cool and liked. Then when Seahag yelled at him he cried for days. Stand up and be man for christ sakes.

And if I recall after Amber screamed at him he convinced Daniele to use her HOH room to talk to his alliance and wound up convincing Jameka that he really was sorry and in turn that conversation led Jameka to help Amber come to terms with keeping Eric in the house. |

Eric didn't do SHIT to keep himself in the house- BB wanted the Americas Player twist to continue and convinced King Rootin Tootin Dustin to keep in Eric. Eric's contribution to keeping himself in was to shake like a fucking teacup chiuaha for a few days and kiss everyone's ass while avoiding eye contact with Dick because he was scared shitless Dick might say something to him. Anytime Dick made a comment to Eric his face drained of blood and he went to Jessica for comfort between her 6 year old with a boobjob tits. Even Dustin stood up to Dick better than Eric did- hell even fucking jameka stood up to Dick before Eric and afterward Eric told her he loved her because she had more balls than he did. |
