I think it was stupid. They don't know that their ex members are going to still be there or be on their side when there is a merge.

Did the Chinese characters on the table match the animals puzzle pieces? If Pei Gee can read Chinese characters, the producers must've really wanted Zhan
Hu to win. No wonder Jeff was so pissed at PeiGee.
Also, did you read the CBS Survivor boards? Many of the CBS posters are super pissed that Jamie and Pei Gee threw the challenge, calling the girls evil, selfish, immoral, etc. Some threatened boycott. One poster said she's ashamed to be a woman. Don't they remember it's a game and not summer camp? http://boards.cbs.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?folderId=1&listMode=13&nav=messages&webtag=cbssurv15mb

My first thought when the switch even happened was to throw the next two challenges. Peih-Gee read my mind.

In cook islands, ozzy also throw a challenge to vote an annoying tribemate out.
The girls wanted to save alliance and so had a stronger reason. Dont blame them, blame the producers ! James and araon are in danger because they didnt make connection with jaime when she was kidnnapped to Fei Long. All the strong guy in Fei Long had poor social ability. |

I hope they have a late merge. Even just one will do. PG will be so pissed that Jamie talk her into doing this and then decides to stick with Erik instead.

Who cares? It's the same as the mutiny. Maybe good, maybe bad strategy but definitely great TV. Jaime & PG <3

C'mon we all know Survivor 101, when you throw a challenge, you get screwed over. Plain and simple.

It was stupid for the show to set this up; loose the the challenge, vote out a member of the other tribe. Next week, both teams should just sit down and see
who can wait the longest to loose.

I understand why people think it was a bad move, but I think its crazy when people crucify Jamie and PG saying all the shit about them being selfish and all
that garbage. They had a very justifiable reason to do what they did. As far as giggling, I was laughing just watching it! I mean, here they are supposed to be
taking this challenge seriously, but they couldn't keep composure. I guess I just feel like people are being a bit too irrational when they attack PG and
Jamie for what they did. Now, of course they are going to get screwed.... it always happens when a challenge is thrown. But hell, it was really great to see
something like this happen on Survivor... I think people are getting too worked up over it.

I like that for the first time in three seasons two women make a power play and everyone calls them cunts. It's so refreshing to see women on this show that don't just let the men walk all over them. Very good point, Archibald. The era of recruitment has found some all-time great males but has really done a poor job finding female gamers. Even though I'm iffy on the wisdom of the move and sad that it screwed Aaron, I appreciate we have some female power players. My concern is that Jaime and Peih-Gee are going to have trouble getting people to trust them. Many people hold competition and the challenges sacred and would consider throwing one crossing the line. You really don't want the reputation that you're a dirty player. But we'll see. It was sort of a damned if you damned if you don't situation for them. Losing so much with the original ZH meant they had to grasp on to whatever they could, which meant keeping Sherea and Frosti safe. But on the other hand it means not making potentially beneficial relationships with their new tribemates like I'm sure the new FL is doing. |

I believe that part of the blame should go to the producers for bringing forth that lame twist in the first place. They just gave those two girls an excuse for
dropping a challenge.

Jeff should have kept his mouth shut so we could see the strategy play out as it should have. James would have had no clue otherwise.

The people complaining are probably James-fans, for he's fucked next week if the tribes stay the same.
Jamie and PG made a very good move. Hell, it was the only move they could've made. Props to them both. |

A fantasy scenario:
At the next reward challenge James tells Denise and Jean-Robert, his two buddies in Fei Long, that Jamie and PJ threw the last immunity challenge. Denise and Jean-Robert then try to lose the immunity challenge to save James, and there is a stalemate: neither tribe wants to win and the challenge threatens to go on forever. Jeff loses it and changes the plan on the spot: "ok, since no one seems to want to win, both tribes are going to tribal council." (He is reprimanded/conratulated by MB.) But it won't happen, because in any scenario in which Fei Long loses Jean-Robert would probably be voted off before Frosti or Sherea. Jean-Robert's only hope is becoming valuable after the merge to break a tie between the Zhan Hu vixens and Todd and his harem. |

If they were to change the challenge rules to whoever "wins" goes to Tribal Council. heh That would be the most entertaining option for sure. |

Having watched Survivor from the beginning, I've come to realize that what they highlight in an episode is a good predictor of what's going to happen
later in the game. In other words, they wouldn't make a big deal out of showing us a lot of details about something if it wasn't going to have some
effect down the road.
Last night's episode really played up Pei Gee and Jamie throwing the challenge to get rid of opposing tribe members, so their tribe would go into the merge with the numerical advantage. It was shown that they did this based on the assumption that there would be a merge at ten -- and that their two former tribemates would remain loyal to them. What this all indicates to me is one of two things will happen (or possibly both):
This storyline definitely is not over yet.

There is still the reward challenge kidnapping deal. Erick, PG and Jaime better try their damndest to win and Frosti and Sherea better try and throw it very
subtly otherwise James is very likely to be kidnapped and have a story to tell. And if Frosti and Sherea play the reward, it's likely they have to sit out
Immunity (meaning if the old Feilong wants to throw it, they can and James can single handedly win it for his tribe).
If Frosti and Sherea are in on the throwing it strategy, they need to win reward to keep James away, so they need to play reward and throw it. However both are challenge "horses" meaning, they can't be obvious in any way, and James will surely tell somebody what's going on and they'd watch Sherea and Frosti closer. Hell, even if James doesn't say a word and isn't kidnapped, Todd and Amanda will realize that James is next to go it they win another challenge and then the sides will be five-five. If James is kidnapped, Todd would go to him and ask him for the next II clue. As I have said, I think throwing it was a great strategy, but they were so obvious about it that Probst had to ask about it. |
