The whole "you should never throw challenges" mentality is so tired.
You should throw the challenge if: 1)You are 100% sure you are safe and 2)You are getting rid of someone who is 100% working against you come the merge. The Rotu4 mighta been the final 4 if they were smart enough to toss the Robfather's ass out way back in Marquesas. (And spared us of the horrible ASS ending. Brrrr.) |

That's true. Jaime and PG looked incredibly stupid laughing about it, but doesn't change that fact it was a good move if performed correctly.

The whole "you should never throw challenges" mentality is so tired. Exactly. The only time you shouldn't throw a challenge is when you're still with your original tribe and the game has barely begun. (See Sook Jai for more details) |

I am still yet to be convinced it was a good move. From where I sit I only counted 4- Muter Ethan, Jaime, PGee and Frosti. Oh did they
assume Sherea would be ever so delighted to be a swing vote.

Sigh.
At least Sherea has a good chance of rejoining with them. Whereas there was virtually no chance of Aaron and James sticking with them. Always go with the devil you know over the devil you don't. |

I have a feeling Zhan Hu/James will end up winning the next IC so we won't really know how the move would of worked. Fei Long is just going to boot Sherea
or Frosti and spare Jean Robert. Then will have a merge and watch the rest of Zhan Hu get picked off like PG predicted.

Screwed either way really.Because being the sixth and seventh rungs in Fei Long is an improvement over being part of the five in Zhan Hu. Seriously, why would Sherea and Frosti want to join the Fei Longs anyway? Everyone's already made alliances and don't really need them, at least until James is gone and Jean-Robert and Denise need allies. James actually would've been the better boot, as Amanda and Todd are still tight with each other while Jean-Robert and Denise would've been easier to win over to Zhan Hu, but obviously they had little way of knowing the tribe mechanics over there so it's not their fault. |

Jaime is smug too but at least she has some redeeming qualities. PGee has rubbed me the wrong way since day one.

James and Aaron were idiots not to see that Jamie was obviously throwing the challenge. She should have pretended to freak out doing the puzzle like she was
trying and just couldn't get it. James and Aaron probably already assumed she was a dumb blond, they wouldn't need to have been pissed about it. She
should have told Erik about throwing the challenge in advance. He could have got a "leg cramp" in the water plausibly enough to buy them some time.
Good for Jeff to call her on it. Props to Jamie for admitting it.
Whether it was brilliant or profoundly stupid remains to be seen. |

If the producers are going to establish a theme for the season, they need to be consistent with that theme. This season's theme has been the Art of War
nonsense. The two tribes are supposed to be at war. In four episodes, warriors were kidnapped. Information was gained from those POWs. Then suddenly a
"kidnapping" of "enemies" becomes a tribal swap. Quite understandably, PG and Jaime remain in war mode. And what do you know, they can
count to ten as well.
Their mistake was having so much fun throwing the challenge. But the greater mistake was made by Burnett and company. |
