I didn't mind Tami slapping Julie either. Julie is being a major brat lately. Glad Coach is coming back. For once, Buddy did the right thing in telling him
his family needs him. Felt bad for Jason when the coach called him a mascot. Hope Tim and Jason's road trip is interesting. Looks like things will heat up
on Landry next week with the body being found. Tim in church was weird. Wasn't he supposed to have been drunk?

No one mentined Buddy Garrity's Emmy winning line. I loved it when he told Riggins "Don't you ever say that, I've seen you play drunk many
times, this wasn't your fault it was all the new coaches fault". That wasn't verbatim but close enough. That line killed me.

I finally caught up with this show. I watched all 3 episodes over the last 2 days. I was avoiding this thread and am now happy to be back.
Julie is being a total bitch so far, but I think her portrayal of a teenage girl is pretty accurate, so kudos to the writing staff for that. Next week they go to Mexico, which was actually filmed in Brownsville, TX. I thought about going to the filming as I'm not terribly far from there, but received the filming notice too late. I still love my sweet baby Saracen and was happy to see him try and kick Smash's arrogant ass. |

What I loved about the coming out of nowhere Buddy Emmy-winning line was Riggins' sheepish lead in of "It's cuz I was hungover."
There's a lot going on right now. Some good, a tetch stupid, but overall I think the series is falling into its season 1 form. So how's Buddy going to get rid of Coach Cylon? |

Ugh. I still haven't got a chance to watch this episode (on to day 6 of my work week) but I've read all about it. It sounds sooooo good.
I'm kinda sad about what they're doing with Julie. She's being a completely typical teenager, and the fact that typical teenagers are total cunts is garnering a lot of hate. And dude, your parents popping one out when you're sixteen and flipping your world upside down does SUCK. Being a cunt when things suck is natural. I loved Tim/Lyla last season, but if she's going to reform his bad boy ways or whatever, I say boo. I love me some brooding, drunk Riggins. |
