In a very recent promo for tonight's episode, Probst said that the game is really switched up tonight and things get a little crazy. Hopefully he is right.

Judging by the promo, Jean-Robert looks like his back is going to be up against the wall. I can't wait to see him squirm.
And why do I have a feeling that the "worst challenge performance ever" will somehow involve Courtney? |

Damn. I actually felt bad for Aaron and James.

Aaron and James can suck it, that was the only move the girls should've made. I can smell the "how dare you lowly females take out my alpha males" twist coming from MB from a mile away though. I really hope I'm wrong.

I enjoyed this episode! I really hope its a 5/5 merge!
I really wished James went, he bugged the hell out of me. Jaime and Peih Gee are become closer on the top of my faves list! Next episode seems interesting! |

Fantastic episode. Just great. I knew Aaron was going home, but I absolutely loved seeing it happen anyway.
God, I am going to hate CI even more after this season is said and done, because then it will be clear just how much better CI could have been... |

If ZH actually throws the next challenge to boot James, we could end up having a season like PI--as in there was no real pagonging after the final 9. Someone
or some ones will realize that they are playing for 4th/5th place and we could have a very good post merge.

That was the best episode of the season thus far. Character development is great and all, but when there's no strategy, or minimal strategy (all of it
coming from Mr. "I'm So Smart" Herzog) then things get boring. And its even worse when all that character development leads to a developed
character getting voted off.

This episode had great quotes to...
"I find Denise attractive." WHAT THE FUCK??? "I'm good at Sudoku!" "This aint no fucking sudoku, now focus!" "Take a minute... a LONG minute" "Stop clowning around children" "It took everything out of me to say that" |

Extremely good episode tonight; never would have guessed in a million years that Aaron would be leaving the game so soon (he was my winner pick before the
season started). Til that third vote was revealed I was sure that James would be going home instead. You gotta give tons of credit to Jaime and PG; this
situation has happened before and I think this is the first time since Silas where the tribe was smart enough to throw the challenge. And booting Aaron over
James was definately the smarter boot as he was the 'leader' of Fei Long and had more ties than James did. Unlike others I still am not confident at
this stage that we'll have a Pearl Islands esque merge, but at the very least we're more likely to have one now.
And a gross food challenge next week? Finally! :) |

Another great episode. Jaime and Peih-Gee really worked hard at throwing that challenge, and Probst did everything in his power to point it out. People have mentioned there disdain for him influencing votes by his commentary. Tonight he went out of his way on 2 different occasions Once to point out that jaime and peih-gee threw the challenge. This was done by showing both tribes the piece that jaime threw away. This was also revisited at tribal by his direct questions which lead to Jaime confessing. I loved the James-Denise alliance, and was pissed when they got separated. I am still left wondering how/why the contestants were given their bathing suits. Speaking of bathing suits, I loved Denise even more after seeing that bright red suit...haha Once again, I am looking forward to next week and the big search for the idol. I also will be curious to see if James burns the camp down. |

Does Burnett even think before he comes up with twists? That was right up there with the dumbest twists ever. A game where it is better to lose than win
isn't a game. Sure, Peih Gee and Jamie were smart to throw the challenge but for Burnett to create that situation is stupid. Worse, Peih Gee and
Jamie's attitudes left a bad taste. What hypocrites! Jeff had to call them out on it. What started off as a great episode with James and Denise in
particular, ended up as a joke.

Sure, Peih Gee and Jamie were smart to throw the challenge but for Burnett to create that situation is stupid. Exactly. Nobody likes to see a tribe getting decimated, but it's still better and much more fair then watching the producers give the decimated tribe free "vote off" members from the other tribe. |

Great episode! Loved PG and Jaime throwing the challenge, loved Jaime and Erik's showmance (and I think its sweet that Erik is still a virgin because he
hasn't found the right person yet), loved Aaron getting the boot instead of James and loved seeing more of FROSTI:) I actually felt bad for Jean-Robert
this episode too (sort of). He is definitely an interesting character whether you like him or not. Where was Courtney today???

panurge46 wrote: I agree. I am a survivor fan since season one and haven't missed an episode. I get my H to watch with me most of the time but when PG and Jamie threw
the challenge he just said this really sucks and left and didn't even watch the rest of the episode. I tried to explain that it was a risky strategy but
good if it paid off. He didn't care about that at all. He is only looking at each weeks satisfaction. He thinks that the twist was just unfair. He
doesn't mind a twist if he thinks it doesn't unfairly impact a player. If the players that got switched had immunity, like the outcasts in Pearl
Islands he wouldn't have hated it. That way each tribe would have been playing for a win. Then whoever left would have been because they lost not because
they lost on purpose. I don't think he will watch again. Maybe when it gets down to 6 or 7 players or the finals.

The portrayals this season are still baffling. James goes from saint to looking like an ass and now is back to saint again. Jean-Robert goes from being a perv
to an underdog. Jaime and Peigh-Gee look like giggling fools and are punished by the editors for throwing a challenge, even though this setup begs people to
throw challenges. Amanda continues to have nothing of value to say, in spite of all the hype surrounding her.
Having strategy is great, but when the strategy is nonsensical (PG thinking they would get two players and not have to give anyone up) and poorly executed (the thrown challenge), you have to look away. This episode was alright, but I wish we could have seen a season without a gimmick/switch/twist.

I'm glad Peih-Gee and Jaime stuck it to the producers for their lame twists. I'm glad that, even though Jeff Probst was trying his hardest to guilt
trip them, they stuck to their guns and did the smart thing. I'm so sick of the producers going out of their way to manipulate the game for the
"underdogs" (Zhan hu) and I'm glad it backfired. I WILL be pissed if there is a merge at something other than 10 just to spite Peih-Gee and Jaime
for playing smart. The producers only have themselves to blame for what happened to tonight.
I wish it was James gone instead though. Aaron was one of my favorites, and James is fucking annoying. Just because Zhan Hu outsmarted you doesnt' mean you should blame them, it's the producer's fault! |
