I lost interest about halfway through.I turned it to Las Vegas instead. The lead is pretty cute. I didn't like Jason Dohring or the blonde reporter whose
acting skills were pretty blah. They canceled Close to Home and passed on that Zombie show with that Joan Of Arcadia chick for this?

Tritonsrod wrote: See, and for me it was about halfway through that it actually started getting decent. The whole first half was so cheesy and campy. It was like they
tried the noir approach, decided it sucked and then switched into action-mode for the ending... the last 20 minutes were actually pretty good.

I'll give it a chance because Angel's first season SUCKED... along with the second season's final 2 episodes, most of it's 4th season and
5th season, plus it's series finale.

Okay, so it wasn't just me. I watched it tonight and thought the acting from the so-called leads was pretty bad. I hope they kill off Logan or whatever
his name was supposed to be soon, all of his scenes were just annoying. Despite that, I did enjoy the second half enough to give it another shot next week.

It sucked. I gave up half way through it. I'll give it another shot because it's sandwiched between Ghost Whisperer and Numbers, but when Men in
Trees starts back up I might have to put this on ice.

Moonlight continues to do very well in the ratings.
According to pifeedback, last night's episode won its timeslot with 8.25 million viewers, beating Friday Night Lights which had 6.48 million viewers. And there was almost no dropoff from last week's premiere. Looks like this show could be a surprise hit. |

BTW....does anyone know if is there's any way to replace 1 disc from a season set ? One Buffy disc is screwed up & I really don't want to replace
the whole season.

My goodness... with all the reality tv fans here I was surprised that no one noticed Tami from Real World 2: Los Angles as the boss of the reporter. Looks like
she's only on a few episodes.
As for the show, I would say it's Ok. It's earned a season pass on the Tivo mostly because there isn't anything else on for me Fridays. |

I liked this last episode. I am glad they didn't drag out him letting her know what he is. It has potential. I'll keep watching... mostly because there
is nothing else on Fridays for me as well.

Has anyone else noticed that the scenes they do in the car have been done horribly? I haven't seen that bad of the fake backdrop stuff since the 70's.
What, they couldn't afford to film out on the street like everyone else?

Still, this show is a Friday night guilty pleasure. It's not going to win any Emmy awards for writing or acting, but as long as it's entertaining that's good enough for me. |

Cheesy writing - check Acting meh - check Visuals trying too hard - check Stories meh - check All in all pretty much what I would end up watching on a Friday night so I'll probably stick with it until it gets cancelled. |

Why oh why is there always a Lois Lane type female on these shows? the "I'm never afraid because I know you'll save me" crap. She knows there are vampires out there but she'll go traipsing around at night totally fearless. If I had confirmation that there were vampires, I'd lock myself in my house. |

He should have just waited it'll be cancelled soon and she'll be back in the UK. When I heard she was going to be on this show I was hoping it would be all Underworld like but instead she's just some lame reporter with a lousy accent.

This show is getting better--last night's eppy best one yet---maybe there is hope. No "logan" in it--maybe that helped--that part of the show
always seemed forced. Vamps are better as loners. |
