Starters I used:
Bulbasaur Chikorita Mudkip Turtwig I tried Chimchar and Piplup and they did nothing for me. I also <3 Cyndaquil. |

I alway did Bulbasaur and then Torchic and Mudkip. I'd switch it up when I was bored.

Yes.
Pokemon LeafGreen/Fire Red > Pokemon Red/Blue though. Magikarp sucks ass btw, but gyarados has a killer move, dragon rage.Dragon Rage does 40 damage every time. It sucks. I never even bother with Gyarados. My team right now is: Torterra, Luxray, Staraptor, Floatzel, and Skuntank with Bibarel for HMs. I am training an Abomasnow for the elite 4 though.

I got Gold... and then I stopped caring about Pokemon.
Why would they bother re-inventing Red/Blue again though? That's what I'd want to know. I was also never able to successfully do the Mew Trick involving the SS Anne and Bill's House. |
