Nice to see another flashback episode to when Earl was still doing bad things. And of course it's to another time period when Joy was pregnant.

YAY! An excellent episode!
This brought back memories of the Y2K ep, with all the interweaving of the storylines. Hilarious, too. Anybody speak Japanese? I recall that whenever Catalina's speaking Spanish, she's actually addressing the viewership. I'd love to know what Yoshi was saying. |

The fellow Earl recognized in prison -- wasn't he Phoebe's cop boyfriend on Friends several years back? I think they broke up after he shot a bird
singing in the window.

That was the strangest half hour sitcom I've ever seen.
Whoa. Crabman's Respect the Meat number had me howling, the rest not so much. I think it bears rewatching. What is it with this show and the Marty Kroft references, anyhow? |

Joy's was my favorite. And the follow-up "Do what I say or God will kill you" was great!

Yeah that was an interesting episode. I did like Crabman's "Respect The Meat" and Catalina's Telenovella......of course I love anything
having to do with Catalina
Loved God's mug: "World's Greatest God" |

It's only taken me 4 years to get to post 1000, and I figured it should be to acknowledge this episode of MNiE. Superhero Randy, Catalina's tears,
Joy's God, but most of all, "Respect the Meat"....hilarious. The end was corny as all get out, but who cares? This show can really catch you off
guard (in a good way), and it sure did tonight.

Congrats on the 1K!!!
Looking forward to your 5K! Yeah, this show whatever else it does can catch you off guard. Garcia is obviously an immensely talented guy. I really thought that once Earl got planted in prison, this series would wither and die. Four eps in: that is DEFINITELY not happening. I'm still loving Catalina and Joy singing back up to Crabman. |

Good episode with some genuine laugh out loud moments. Loved everybody's fantasies, but especially Joy's. She cracks me up. It was weird seeing
Pufnstuf on there. And Crabman's Respect the Meat, too funny!

Hole surgery? You'd think they'd have a fancier name for it.

I think it is suffering the "Rory/Buffy goes to college" dilemma when a character is put in a different surrounding from the other cast members.
Oh...and its not a turn-on when the hottest bod on tv is 8 months pregnant :^(
