I had heard Cheyenne was a jerk, but not from this show...from prior shows. Not sure where I heard it to be honest. I was never a Kerry Butler fan especially after "Little Shop", but she won me over bigtime with this performance. What a riot. I'm Kiiiiiiiiiirahhhhh. Brilliant. Sorry to hijack the LB thread...

I have never heard a bad thing about Cheyenne, could be that he is an undercover jerk, would surprise me though as he has been super nice every time ive met him. I've been a HUGE Kerry fan ever since she did Batboy, which goes a ways back. She is awesome. "They call me Kiiiiiiiiira. Good thing, cuz thats my name." So not sorry to hijack the Legally Blonde thread, since we are talking about the superior Xanadu.

She looks SO much like that actress Amy Adams. It's uncanny. There were 8 of us that went to "Xanadu", what a blast. I am glad I got a chance to see it. I love the people behind us..."I don't get what's happening. This is stupid". And Kerry saying "Sonny Malone" w/that Australian accent cracked me up all the time. And I worship Mary Testa.

And certainly nothing wrong with worshiping Mary Testa, though if I had to worship one of the e-e-evil women, it would be the queen of the ad libs, Jackie Hoffman.

I saw her in a play last December with Christine Baranski...and finally got to hear her sing live with this. And Jackie was great...in this and in "Hairspray"...great to see her and Kerry together again in a show. Oh and one of the actresses in "Xanadu" was one I saw several years ago in "Zanna Don't".

Damn it sucked just as much as I remembered. I finally figured out who LBB reminded me of...that mentally retarded character Nicole Sullivan used to play on Mad TV, Antonia. Except Antonia is waaaaaaaaaaaaay more endearing. I think LBB is the main reason I hated this show (there is a list). The only performers I liked Orfeh (who was over the top) and Kate Shindle in a thankless role.

How hard is it to read cue cards and seem remotely interested in the show you're hosting?! (2) Laura Bell Bundy looked like a chipmunk. She's a got a fat girl's head plastered on to a skinny girl's body. Camera close-ups don't become her at all. And (3) Christian Borle looks like a creepy mother-fucker. Don't get me wrong, he's amazingly talented, but he looks creepy as hell! I sat through it all but I thought the show was pretty awful. There were only one or two good songs and Orfeh's talents were completely wasted in this show. I'm still hoping it'll pull in good business for the show though so that other shows may consider doing this as well.

Kristin Bell is much more endearing and more suited to the role, vocally and otherwise. LBB looks like she's 50 years old and comes across as cold and her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I wish I had seen Kristin Bell (or ANYONE else really) in this role, it may have made sitting through it a bit more bearable.
