Most likely Eric says this given the Eric/Jaime romance. The 'and one player wants to go to tribal council, even though he believes he will be voted out.' might be Aaron since that is episode where the tribe switch takes place. |

I hope they don't do that barbaric Chinese delicacy that is all the rage. A live monkey is brought out, then his skull is bashed in. Spoons are handed
out to everyone, and you are supposed to scoop out the brains and eat them sashimi style.

That would be a shame, Annie.
I just hope the same sort of seasonings we eat will be available to the castaways as well. For instance, a bit soy and sesame oil is essential for foods like heart, tongue, lungs or ears. I remember plan or raw items offered in other seasons. Does anyone remember seasoned gross food being offered? Well, there's Poi... |

In the latest issue of TV Guide Mag (Oct22-28), there is a blurb section called Moment of the Week that says,
"Survivor's Hidden Immunity Idol Found!" Thursday, 10/25,8/7c, CBS.
"Is wily Todd the castaway who finds the Immunity Idol this week? Once it's discovered, the secret isn't safe for long. Plus, the Survivors indulge in "Chinese delicacies" (Yum, chicken heart!)." There is a picture (sorry can't copy it to show you) that shows Todd with his arms extended over his head grasping the cross beam that has the Chinese carved character in the center of the beam (which we have been shown time after time when the HII is discussed, and ergo must be the HII) looking directly at the carved wooden thingy (HII?). Another blurb on the Thursday Highlights page (67) says, "Tonight's reward is the 'ultimate' bathroom experience, which we're guessing means indoor plumbing and two-ply toilet paper--ooh la la!" Take it for what it is worth!

"These little embryos they eat off the street" makes me think of "hot enough to fry eggs on the sidewalk".
Is there some uniquely Chinese bathroom experience? I know toilet paper would be nice after being without it for a couple of weeks, but would that be "ultimate"? Hopefully it's more like a spa or something... |
