I wasn't as thrilled with this episode as most of you. I liked it but didn't like nearly as much as the rabies episode.
what i liked: * The beginning when they were watching for the cube to hit the corner of the screen while Michael was babbling. * Phyllis trying to deal with Angela. * The way Andy kisses Dwight's ass. * The dance Andy did when Dwight won. * Andy's "take a chance on me" * Dwight and Michael making fun of Ryan at the end..... are they trying to tell us that Michael finds Ryan attractive? He did get hottest in the office award. What I didn't like: * The whole Dwight thinking the computer is talking to him got old. * I didn't care for the whole pizza thing. * The party planning thing was blah. |

so a friend of mine made me watch the pizza boy hostage episode and it was

What I LOVE about this show is how they can go from something completely ridiculous and turn it into something sweet, (and they don't stop to focus on the
sweet moments in a tacky way.) Like when Pam saw Dwight getting rejected and had the website message him "You beat me. You are the superior being."

I loved when they were googling "accomplice" and looking up the jail term.

How much did Dwight end up tipping the pizza guy? $1.50 on almost $65 worth of pizza? LOL....

Having delivered pizzas for a number of years in my youth, I can tell you that Dwight's tip is not terribly unusual.

Remember in Season 2 in the Michael's birthday episode? Dwight said he didn't believe in tipping anyone if he thinks he can do what they did himself.
He can deliver pizza and cut his own hair. He tips his urologist because he cannot pulverize his own kidney stones.

What is a pizza harold?Wait, are you talking about pizza harold, or pizza by harold? There's a huge difference. |

The funniest part of the episode: Angela explaining very NICELY to Phyllis the difference between spoons, forks and knives. I lost my shit.

^ I agree but I also loved the part where she balled up all the sticky notes and threw them in Angela's face. Phylis is hilarious!

Such a great episode. I simply could not hear a thing Michael was saying while watching the DVD logo bounce around the screen. I was shocked when it hit the
corner.
The not realistic complaints have got to stop. Michael is capable of far crazier things than driving into a lake when he's pushed to his limit. Like kidnapping a pizza delivery kid.
Angela "politely" ripping Phyllis to tiny little pieces repeatedly was hilarious. Loved it when she finally had enough and threw the sticky pads at her. Did anyone else get a warm glow when the guy passing by told Michael and Dwight that Ryan was embarassed by Michael's announcement? I think everyone shared that nice feeling that Ryan got screwed. It's actually good that Ryan moved to the head office. Now instead of feeling indifferent to the temp, we hate his egotistical little ass. Loved the Abba harmonizing. Loved the self-aware computer that admitted defeat to Dwight after Angela spurned him. Loved that little moment Jim and Pam had on the roof. Loved the staff checking up legal stuff on the internet. Great show. |
