Why didn't I see that Tony had been assigned to romance Kermit the Frog's daughter? It was so blatantly obvious this episode. Why else would he go to the Director discuss his hesitation to sleep with his new girlfriend? When the episode first aired I thought it was just to give Lauren Holly some face time. I'm really going to miss Belisarius.

Too many recycled plot lines from other shows with no unique or interesting twists. The actors all did their jobs ok, it was the writing that was lacking.

I was bored silly by that entire storyline. Did ANYONE here think Tony was in that car? I was 100 percent sure that it wouldn't be him. They never kill off the "hunk". I just hope that we can get back to the regular show now--the stuff that makes it a riveting and worth watching show every week. Bellisario is the reason I started watching...and I hope his leaving doesn't mess things up.

Nothing seems to ever affect it's ratings whether it's up against American Idol or in this case DWTS. I really just don't get it ..

Blastoff, the reason the show's got such a loyal/stable audience is probably just because most gorks will watch any "crime drama" they come across but I like the show because it's more about the characters (like House and to a certain extent Bones) than all the CSIs and L&Os. Also there's a strong comedic aspect with all the characters playing off each other.

You all really do put the proof in bulletproof. VERY impressive! I've tried to get into this show, but I think lingering JAG homesickness keeps driving me away. I saw the guy hidden in the backseat of the taxi ep in reruns and watching Bud as not-Bud drove this home to me. If only Admiral Chegwidden were in the mix somehow. Or Catherine Bell. Especially Catherine Bell.

I skipped JAG completely, because I was mourning Quantum Leap. Now, I wish I'd watched JAG... I have seen some of the reruns, and it was a good show. I agree that the reason I love NCIS is the characters. I love the interplay between them, and the family dynamic.

(ahem, ok, self congratulatory remarks over). My mom got me hooked on NCIS when I was home over Christmas a few years ago. She was a big Kate fan, so didn't like Ziva for a long time. I never knew Kate, so it made no difference to me. I also like the comedic interplay between characters - some of the one-liners that are so casually tossed out are what make the show for me. I want to see Abby and McGee together. I adore when Gibbs kisses Abby on the cheek I missed the premiere due to an unfortunate accident of somehow having season passes for both NCIS and Beauty and the Geek on my Tivo, and Beauty took precedence....sigh. At least I can catch the premiere in reruns later this year. All in all, a solid cast (excluding the director) with mostly good writing - let's hope that doesn't change with the change in management.

Loved the scary ship horror movie references just in time for Halloween. Plot twists and pacing were back. And glad to see the director is growing her hair out.

The woman is an old childhood friend (now grown up) of Gibbs' dead daughter, and she went to him asking for protection from a Marine who's stalking her. The entire episode is shown in flashback with Gibbs dealing with the memories of his daughter as well as the case. The Marine was actually trying to smuggle money stolen in Iraq into the US, and he needed her in order to get it. She gets kidnapped by the 2 guys who the Marine was getting the money for, and Gibbs and Tony rescue her once they figure out where the money was. To get away from the 2 guys, Gibbs and his daughter's friend are in a car that ends up in the river. The last scene showed Gibbs reunited with his wife and daughter in heaven, but his daughter tells him to go back. He then wakes up just as Tony is reviving the friend.
