The episode was really boring. Nothing actually happened. Only thing we find out is that DL is dead. The only fatality from Kirby Plaza.
Also, if I wanted to watch Smallville, I would have gouged my eyes out first. |

Oh, Suity, Suity! You can't give up on LOST yet! I'm refusing to ever let go of that show strictly for the Locke-factor. Come February I'll be there waiting to see what adventures await our motley bunch of misfits. They may even do a flash forward of Sawyer just for you & have him dressed to the nines in a gorgeous, well taylored, Armani suit that accents his broad shoulders & fleshy buttocks.

I don't get some of you! I'm totally enthralled by the storylines that are being setup so far this season. I'm even enjoying the Hiro storyline. I
guess it's just cause I know that they are all gonna somehow inner mingle in some awesome way just like last season. As far as this episode:
Niki/Micah/D.L. - First off, how many of you wanna bet that D.L. died from the virus within the four months between last seasons finale and this seasons premiere? Because I'm sure it wasn't that one gun shot wound to the shoulder, after Matt took like 3 bullets to the gut! Secondly, what is Niki wanting to get cured of? Her powers, the split personality, or the virus? I bet the Company has her thinking they can cure her of her split personality in exchange for her working for the company. They're gonna keep her in as a new side-kick for one of their new agents because that's how they roll. They did it w/ Eden, I'm sure they did it w/ Candice, and now they are gonna do it w/ Niki. Peter - I read this somewhere else, but this defines is storyline thus far, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely!" All those super-powers are gonna go to his head sooner or later, and it ain't gonna be pretty. He'll be walking towards the darkside anytime now. Claire/Noah/West - Okay, I've been spoiler free since the first episode premiered and did not see either of the two reveals of West being a past lab rat for Noah, and the painting of Noah's death coming at all. Adds an interesting dynamic for Claire here. Can't wait to see how this is gonna play out. Hiro/Kensei - Still have no clue how this story is gonna end which might be the reason why I'm enjoying it moreso then I thought. I just want to know more backstory on Kensei. I'm sure he had to know before that point, that he had superpowers. Maya/Alejandro - Cool use of her powers to free her locked up brother. Still intrigued by them though. We'll see how it plays out. Sylar - HATE HATE HATE him for killing off Candice, but love that he no longer has any of his powers. It's kinda cool how they are playing this up this kinda juxtaposition w/ him and Peter, with both maybe switching places or what not. I'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon that Sylar might have the Shanti virus and that's why he can't access his abilities. Bob - Motherfucker is shady beyond belief. He has to have some alterior motives w/ Mohinder. And I'm done! Does anyone have the preview for next episode? I didn't have it on my download for this episode. Other then that, I'm enjoying this season so far. |

Sylar AND Hot Peter both in the same episode. Woo! My Sylar has come home. But yeah, blech...I hated that entire story with him and Candice. Candice was
there with a known MASS MURDERER yet she just makes him breakfast and lets him get close to her? That reeked of idiocy. If that actually happened that way,
they only did it to kill off a fat character

I wish they would have clarified exactly what Sylar was interested in. Morph Candice into Peter/Mohinder and Sylar goes...Ooh! You can live. Hehe. A boy can dream... |

Didn't the eclipse activate powers in "special" people? That's what I thought. Kensei didn't know he had powers until after the eclipse triggered them. |

It was very ironic when Sylar was standing over Candace's body and said how sad that she couldn't be happy with the way she was when he has been striving all along to be "special". |

One more episode and if it's still a snooze fest, I'm pulling the plug on this show. Especially after seeing the shocker of next episode when Mohinder
discover the symbol from Molly.
This show was kinda clever last year, but now it's just slow and sloppy. "Ando open this" you think over the hundreds of year nobody would have openned it before ? Peter stalling the story because he has powers but doesn't want to know who he is. Claire and West is just so cheezy and the flying effects are so bad. I remembered watching the sonic boom of Nathan flying over and over and thinking woah nice ! But for West it's cheesier than superman. Oh and the iPhone commercial that a guy explain that you could take your voice mail if you want to, and not take the voice mail if you don't want to.. wow never seen that before.... oups i think i'm derailling. |

The producers have said in the past that the eclipse doesn't have anything to do with their powers, it was just a world wide event they could all share.
But that doesn't mean they haven't changed their minds

Liking the season so far, but parts of the show are dragging.
The Claire storyline does suck all kinds of ass thanks to that fucking Robotfag. As annoying as the twins are, I'd still take an hour of them doing the bleeding eye shit over five minutes of West being an obnoxious douchebag. Please let him suffer a Nikki/Paulo-type death. I want him to fucking die. Worst character on the fucking show by far. Also, the Hiro storyline had closure, so why are they continuing it? It would've been a great time for Hiro to leave, so why did he go "Oops nevermind LOL" at the last minute? I hope this is going to go somewhere else besides "Let's follow Kensai as he does shit" or "I'm gonna get that girl," but rather "Ooh I'm gonna help Kensai fight FUCKING DRAGONS AND ROBOTS AND SHIT GOD DAMMIT." I didn't mind the storyline so far, but I am getting worried they're gonna stretch it out far too long now. Hiro writing letters from 350 years in the past to Ando like he was at summer camp was pretty cool, though. Also, twins are the new Niki storyline. Hurry the fuck up, please. Actually, pretty much all the storylines are dragging on a bit, with Peter's "I don't want to find out my identity" shit and Mohinder being such a boring character to begin with. I guess I enjoyed all the little things that happened in the meantime, and Heroes is back to its badass cliffhangers at least. I've got faith things will pick up in a few episodes, though. And if that fucking douchebag Robotfag dies a gruesome death from Sylar ripping his spinal cord out and whipping him with it, then it'll have been a successful season in my eyes. God, I fucking hate that stalking pervert shithead. |

So does "Heroes." Things just have to have time to come together. You don't want them giving away the plotlines for the entire season now do you? Just be patient, grasshopper.

Have the producers/NBC execs given this series a planned ending date? If not, (and they plan on sticking to serialized plots), this series will have the same issues that LOST and JERICHO had. The writers have to stretch out their storylines to avoid shooting their wad too early, but it helps if they know when the ending date will be. |

Heroes doesn't have a defined end like Lost does, though. We know the Losties will get off the island eventually. We don't know what the fuck will
happen with the heroes. For all we know, dinosaurs will come to Earth in season 3 and the heroes will have to fight them for possession of the universe.
