This was better than I expected, interesting premise, good characters, good performances. But it reminded me of PASADENA, the short-lived, over-the-top 2001
series that starred Dana Delaney. And like PASADENA, it runs the risk of quickly losing its serious core and descending into complete campy silliness.
We'll see what happens in the next few weeks.

 Please keep this show on the air. It's refreshing, clever and the
acting is great. Great casting job. I was never bored and yet it never felt choppy as the scenes flew by! The writers have me hooked already.

Brian's baby-mama finally got out of that well! Maybe he would be kinder to her if she would just put that fucking lotion in the basket.  
I'll cosign this show. I thought it was great and I'll keep watching. I wanted him to open the fucking brief case and I did think that helicopter was going to blow up... but once he got in it, I knew he was safe. Daddy Darling seems to know a little more than he is letting on. I think he helped Daddy George get away from something... he was almost shocked to see the brief case. Hmmm... this show has lots of potential - in every corner. Good job ABC - now don't cancel it. BTW: naked Krause there at the end was bonus times 1000   "I'll do that for a dollar"

I think Tripp had something to do with Nick's fathers death. It seemed like he wanted to see that black briefcase that Nick had....

Maybe I am naive but I am actually expecting a 2nd week ratings bump not dip from this show w/ all the poisitive response and the inevitable word of mouth as a
result.
This show is too awesome to not be the next Greys or Heroes or Lost or Ugly Betty or whatever of it's season. So...who does everyone think is the faux Darling b/c you just know that one of the kids is Nick's half sibling and a product of the 40 year affair. My bets are on Brian. It won't be Julia or Jeremy b/c they're twins so that would be 2 for the price of one, Karen would be too icky and I think Patrick, since he carried the Father's name will prob. be left alone as well. |

I found Daddy Darling too invested in Little "Nickie" coming to work for him. Almost like it was a condition of Daddy George 'disappearing' The affair has been going on for 40yrs? So that means before Nick was born? Why didn't he meet the Darling family sooner? I just remember him meeting Brian & Karen and before the door closing "I hate you" &
"I love you" - that would lead to me believe the affair was just starting so then those two couldn't be Daddy George's... but if you look at
40yrs then well who knows. Nick could have deflowered his sister

I think Brian is the half sib too...he hated Nick's dad too much. Daddy resentment issues. That said, Glenn Fitzgerald is hysterical, and Brian is a riot. |

I love that Glenn and Brooke had that scene together since they were in Series 7 together.
Oh and I'm 99.9% sure that Billy B's wife was the same actress in every scene. I remember her from Maximum Bob and she was the same actress in each scene. |

I wasn't planning on watching this but ended up doing so, and I absolutely loved it. Which sucks cause thats the last thing I need now is another show to
be addicted to.
When and where was this full frontal nude scene? I totally missed that. |
