Fame on this show hardly would translate anywhere else. Alison Mack probably knows this for sure and will probably have MAJOR problems finding work after this. Kristen Kreuk is probably done already, so why she's whining about her contract is beyond me. The only person who will remotely be able to work is Tom Welling, and only because there's always a market for being paid to have various liquids licked off of his body. :P

That was a great premiere. The end song (Sober by Kelly Clarkson) was a great way to end it. I think the phantom died a little easy...but I get how the writers wanted to move on from the Phantom Zone. Supergirl seems interesting...but I am getting nervous about the overwhelming amount of female characters. I just stopped hating Lois. Took three years but I finally grew to like her :P.

^^ ITA. Sometimes the writing is spot on and we get great episodes that move forward characters and make you care about the story of their lives even more. Then you get the odd episode that is so formulaic and blah that you get annoyed. Women in this show are such victims that I'm thrilled supergirl is here so that maybe she won't be the perpetual victim but if Clark has to save her once...omg, annoying.
