Reality TV is all about entertainment not some sort of statement as to who deserves the airtime or not. I'd love to see the people who entertained me on one reality show continue on to others if they can bring it to the same level as before. Alison was clearly out of her league on the Amazing Race, not the greatest choice or a measuring stick for others to make the same transition. �NOOOOOOOO!� Leave TAR ALONE!!

However, I would actually be okay with a TAR season filled with odd pairings from BB - how about they take those interested, throw their names in a hat at the start of the show, then pull names and then that's your partner. You could get Nick/Dani, but you could get Jen/Dick. Ah the possibilities. My comment to Clown had more to do with HOW Romber got on TAR than them actually being on the show. They weren't recruited...they begged to get on the show. They didn't want their 15 minutes of fame to end. So to me, anyone who complains about Eric trying to get on TAR because he's trying to extend his 15 minutes is hypocritical if they didn't also complain about Romber begging on to TAR to extend their 15 minutes. Now, if you don't want Eric on TAR because you don't like the guy, that's one thing. But if you're just using the "he's had his 15 minutes" excuse, well, then, so did Romber...and for some of us, their 15 minutes is turning into the Truman Show. Personally, I like Eric. If he wants to be on TAR, then I'm all for him doing it. He's welcome on my tv screen anytime. And where TAR is generally an alliance-free game that takes about a month, I think TAR would be easier for the Stein clan to handle. Besides, if TAR is in the cards for Eric, there's plenty of time for him to learn to drive a stick...he can practice in Kansas on farm equipment. speaking of cards Rob and Amber got tv executive to bankroll his dream of being a professional gambler with a reality show and I believe he quit to get on Amazing Race

I don't really care about famewhores extending their 15 minutes - Eric could go on Top Chef/Top Design/Shear Genius/Project Runway and be on Bravo for an entire year non-stop and it wouldn't bother me. It's just that TAR should be better than all that - that's not Eric hate talking, it's TAR love. BB is trashy summer crack but TAR is supposed to be the good show, not a desperate refuge for Z-listers. Ideally there wouldn't be any reality-whores tainting TAR, but Romber (who I've both liked and loathed at various points in their TAR career) were at least a better choice because: a) One of them won... b) ...an All-Stars c) They were engaged (and, on TAR11, married). There have been a billion dating couples and almost all of them have either been whiney tools (Mojo, Ron/Kelly) or dead air (JVJ, Kris/Jon). Young marrieds are at least a little rarer. d) Survivor > Big Brother in ratings/cultural impact e) Rob got his screentime solely through his personality, while Eric's came as a result of being given a big twist Personally, I like Eric. If he wants to be on TAR, then I'm all for him doing it. He's welcome on my tv screen anytime. So it's wrong to want Eric not to be in the show if you just dislike him, but okay to want him to be on the show just because you like him?
