Well, I for one was disappointed with the China Themesong. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but... I was expecting so much more. It's just too cluttered
and non distinct. Just seems like he got a bunch of random sound bytes and threw them together... not impressed.

At least, that's what I read in newspaper and websites. EvanWeinstein, it's true that the direct translation of 幸存者 is the lucky survivor. I think it fits the show more as it brings out the meaning that only the lucky one gets to survive. :) I understand people living outside of US can't get itunes. I've uploaded it. Am I the only one who heard Jeff say 1 Survivor before the intro? Well, I listen to it again to make. "...to claim the million dollars prize. 39 Days 16 People 1 Survivor, then intro rolls in"Oops, can't edit my own post. Guess like I misunderstood. There is no "1 Survivor" shown in the intro. Instead, we got a page of "The Art of War". But certainly there will only be one winner. |

jezz people, its only 99 cents on itunes... jst go get it from there!! its much better quality n it sounds better... n 4 those people who dont have itunes in their country, should get it individually from somewhere.... Neways on a totally different topic, I think this theme rocks Mypoody 2... initially (especially the first couple of hours after the premier) I felt that the song was clustered and sounded very much like Russ recylced some of the stuff... Also, I was expecting so much for this theme ever since the show was announced and after learning that Russ is actually going to the location (since Amazon??). but after listening to it on my ipod a billion times, I really really think its one of the best themes... Now I can distinguish between the different sounds in this intro... there is the basic chanting by the chinese women (which Russ revised very well) ... then there are subtle additions through out the song: like during the intros of amanda and jaime... This theme very much fits its location because China has a peaceful side to it, while there is also the modernized sector as well... In this intro, I feel like the first part is subtle and kinda peaceful while the second part is much more upbeat.... Like I said before, I think this is the first intro that I would call beautiful... I think I sound crazy now, so I will stop.... N remember, while u r in ur bed 2nite praying that u will win the lottery the next morning, please pray that CBS does not make a crappy short intro of this season's theme like they did in Fiji and EI.... Oh I hope they dont.... |

download it, but lets not take away from Russ. He travels to the location and works with the Chinese singers all for the show and the fans. Lets give him some
credit.
