Just FYI, not all people with autism spectrum disorders are "retarded". That is a huge misconception, and I've seen several mentions of it and had to say something. Actually, most people with with the spectrum disorder of Asperger's are normal to high with their IQ. They are just typically socially awkward and don't have great eye contact. The fact that she wasn't even diagnosed until age 13 in itself shows she is probably at the mild end of the spectrum. Sorry to be a pain, but I hate the term retarded used loosely. I have a daughter with a spectrum disorder and she is normal IQ and not retarded. |

I'm at the point now that I tape the show and fast forward through any of Tyra's preachy bullshit. I can't take it anymore. I love the modeling aspect of the show, but I've come to hate Tyra.yeah, same here. I feel like the modelling is just an after thought to Tyra & Co. It's almost like its become "who's the prettiest girl here I can help to better their life" kinda show. |
