They won for an episode submitted from Season 10 not All-Stars.

Izad - They got to watch the All-Star episode too. So who knows maybe that did influence their vote especially if you were in the episode chosen.

Congrats to TAR on their Emmy winning streak.
Maybe Survivor China will break the streak next year. |

I'm disappointed that the presenters stole so much time with their skit and the Amazing Race theme music was abbreviated and no inspirational scenes were played from the show. Hmm, could it have been a sour grapes conspiracy on the part of the producers/directors of the Emmy Awards show wanting to prevent exposing new viewers to the greatest show on television???I remember last year the intro to the reality category was awful. I forget exactly what they said, but it something to the effect of how reality programming isn't real television. I remember being shocked that they could be so disrespectful to people they were about to present an award to. Reality has definitly been given the cold shoulder by the Emmys before, probably thanks to the arrogant writers and actors who have priced themselves out of the market in recent years and are now bitter, bitter, bitter. (Although since the reality craze has died down a bit, maybe they're having the last laugh. )

Reality will always linger...especially now that we have a Reality channel all to its very own! But really...the Emmys snobbery toward reality TV is no
different to literatures snobby reception toward Harry Potter. Is it great television/literature? No. But does it get people reading/watching, the important
thing? Yes.

Fantastic. More Emmys means more seasons.

Shear Genius should've been nominated and won. Or Solitary. Those were clearly the 2 most clever and entertaining shows out last year
But yay TAR |

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN #7362 What does it mean when... The Amazing Race was the ONLY CBS show last night to win any award? Those bastard tv execs had better woken up this morning and told Bertram & Co. to pack their bags and get the next season on the road. Hmmpf! |

Woo for TAR!
But two, tantalizing, teasing seconds of Phil weren't enough, dammit!
I want my TARTV. |

I'm just pissed I have nothing to watch until fucking FEB now with BB being over?
I'm so over this survivor shit. Bring TAR back to my screen in the fall, for christ sake. |

Yay to Amazing race.

I was so happy to see they won. It means we will get another season. CBS would not be stupid enough to cancel the only show to win an EMMY for them would they? |

I would LOVE to see some Showtime synergy with some of the miles of footage shot on TAR....they could run it concurrently with the episode coming up that
week...granted the show has already been taped...but imagine the raw stuff that isn't used!...I'd watch it.

Love TAR, but an EMMY?? Who really cares? Obviously not the American people; as it is in a ratings free fall every year. 30 Rock will join Arrested
Development on the trash heap soon. Also they were giving awards to West Wing long after anyone still cared.
