I was on hold for about 5 minutes before I spoke to a live person who was definitely in India, but her english was very easy to understand. She went through the whole spiel about keeping it yada yada yada and I told her I wanted to cancel now. She then tried to get me to hold onto it until my billing date and I told her I will be out of town. More suggestive selling. I finally told her that it was my anniversary and that my husband and I would be too BUSY to watch the LF's. She got my drift and put me on hold to cancel. For those who haven't cxlled yet, they are supposed to send an email confirmation of the cancellation and they also give a confirmation number, so make sure you keep it in case they don't cancel the account properly.

OMG . .got in after only 1 minuute hold.. obviously an indian guy called "Alan" - but good enuff english :). i had to repeat my email address twice to him before he got it though. 2:56PST ... he's still trying to convince me to keep it .. i can chat with other real player peeps! they'll replay BB on the feeds! music pass! omg interviews on the feeds! omg can we cancel after 2 weeks? "No i want to cancel right NOW not after 2 weeks call again". But you'll get music and interviews! And BB feeds are still on! "No PLEAAAAAAASE cancel it right now". 2:58 PST ... he finally gives up and is off to cancelling waits for confirmation 3:00 PST ... yay got cancellation confirmed hangs up Last Edited By: nomii 09/14/07 4:00 PM. Then they drill you why your making a mistake to cancel their outstanding service. I cancelled last week, but the woman kept me for an hour before actualling getting rid of the account. She tried to talk me into keeping the service because there were gonna be interviews with "Janelly" and "Kuh-ZAHR". It was obvious she had no clue what Big Brother even is. If you use a Pre Paid Credit Card..........You do not need to Ever call them. They will send You Emails asking You to give them money. I hate it when they make it difficult to cancel. I will have to adopt the same technique I use with cold callers and ask them if they are willing to accept Jesus into their lives. I'll tell them that I won't cancel if they shout "Hallelujah I love me some Jesus!"at the top of their lungs and renounce all other religions. Or something. I love coming into this thread each year, even though I never get the feeds.

Here's what the email said: "Per our conversation, please consider this e-mail as confirmation that your superpass membership will remain active through 9/23/07 at no further cost to you. If you would like to continue your membership at that time, no further action is required. However, if you should decide that you would like to cancel at that time, you may do so by contacting Customer Service prior to that date or simply by responding to this e-mail with your request." I would suggest responding to your cancellation email just in case. They did sent me another email after that finally confirming that the account will be cancelled.

And then he admitted that even cancelling today I have RP until 9/27 so I still get that feature anyway. Sneaky.

I would assume its a good idea to call anyways. I can't see how they can keep charging you if you only signed up for the BB season and not paying monthly.

I instead went to the support page and sent them a message saying that is ridiculous, either cancel the account or I will tell my credit card company that they are not authorized to charge my card and that I will report the practice to consumer protection agencies and state and federal commerce bureaus. I got an email the next day saying that my account was cancelled.
