Posts: 91 (09/14/07 12:48 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	dick had his own THEME MUSIC and some of you dont think he was the producers star of the show. they would never let anyone stay in the house after threatening to rape jen until she bled to death, throwing tea on her, burning her with a cigarette (maybe it was her fault), calling her a slut and whore on a regular basis, saying he wants to kill her all the time. they just let him stay. theres already a lawsuit against cbs for not removing dick from the house. im sorry but they obviously encouraged dick to go ballistic because they loved playing that annoying rocker stupid theme song they had since the day the show aired and they had just moved in.

(Calls are .99 cents each & I imagine that the get at least 50%) Fact: Every year there are people screaming "foul" Fact: If you can't deal with the "reality" that goes with "reality" shows you shouldn't be watching because it's not going to change. DR manipulation if u ask me, they convinced janiele in DR that she looked dumb on tv because will was saying crap behind her back there is no way janiele would have thought that without DR manipulation in fact, erika had given up on the game that week, she was doomed and she had no plan erika gets pulled into DR for hours at a time and next thing u know she is pulling janiele into backyard to tell her the non-sense about how will is embarassing "the girls" on tv janiele didnt even believe that load of crap from erika at first...so DR pulled another one they found a place on tapes where will called janiele a "ho" joking around with boogie they told erika about it, erika told janiele, janiele asked about it in DR and they said ask will, will said yea i said it but i was JOKING..... BOOM BAM SLAM....janiele votes out will why was DR manipulating? 2 reasons, #1 they thought the 2 girls teaming up would make good tv, it did for one epasode got a huge advertising play week up to the epasode..."shocking" (but ruined game end) #2 a bunch of high up staff hated will because he bashed the show production on feeds a lot i saw will come out of DR a few times and tell boogie he just got his ass chewed out and how they were pissed will even said some producers were "furious at him" D/D end makes such a great story line how could they not pull for it in DR? i would like to see a true reality show though, id take out the DR or stick a feed camera in there 24/7 thats another thing, no more turning off feeds, you want to talk to house guests let us hear

I found out erika dated the guy who came in 2nd place on season one. Josh. Turns out erica knew a lot of the producers personnaly. Erika had been attending BB get togethers and parties for YEARS. Wasn't she also a casting director for CBS? That just smacked of rigging to me. Putting in friends of staff in game. I would not be suprized if the DR last year was trying to cause an Erika win.

It really muddies the water for any competent people who feel the producers over stepped their bounds... I feel the problem is not that Dick and Danielle were given the game. I don't believe that in the slightest. I believe that the convention of the Diary Room is constructed in a way that allows for producers to persuade players through questions that they can easily throw their hands up and say were fair or "trying to get contestants to explain both sides." That's my major problem with the entire US Big Brother construct. These people aren't speaking to a disembodied voice of next-to-no identity. They know the names of the people they are talking to and build bonds with those people. So the situation arises where producers can influence through questioning. Not unlike what a lawyer does in a courtroom to get a witness to go in a certain direction. That's what I believe has been done this year. I don't believe there's anything you can do about it though and fundamentally it happened to pretty much enough people to equal out the affect it had overall. It just seems this year that it was directed in an avenue that ironically helped out the most popular players. This will continue though unless the way they handle Diary Room sessions change. The show is hardly Big Brother as it is... Finally, in case anyone thinks my opinion is tainted by unfair hatred for a certain houseguest....I didn't really like any of them :) and rarely ever watched the edited television show. Let's face it...anyone who is cast for a reality television show is hardly going to be a person of upstanding moral virtue. They're all dirt bags at the end of the day.

Posts: 25 (09/14/07 4:23 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	yea true - we need some manipulation in DR to make the shows interesting and you need "bad" people in there nobody wants to watch 14 nice people and friends sit around and play cards for 3 months season one was probably the least rigged and it turned out to be a total waste america did all the voting and that resulted in all the "bad" players who made drama getting voted out 1,2,3 that game went downhill fast-anybody on show who made drama america voted out it was so bad at end of show BB offered them a ton of money in a suitcase for somebody to walk out so they could bring in a girl who promised to cause drama...nobody took the money you ended up with 3 frat boys and a girl who didn't talk britney and george were entertaining with their dress up and hair dye but no drama was there at end the only drama was when they drank too much beer oh yea the other drama was they were all going to walk off the show at one point in some kind of george inspired protest nother thing is the DR is there to prevent them from leaving game early if the DR was not there, daniele and kail would have left show early, walked off myself i would not prevent things like that, if somebody wants to leave let them just bring back somebody else fact is after nick left and daniele got called out for "cheating" she tried to DOR and DR talked her out of it-DR changes game a lot

On the finale night, I have other plans. Instead, after work I will go the gym, watch the Survivor: China Preview I have tivo'd , eat dinner, work on a creative writing project, call a couple of friends to say hello, and then make passionate love with my boyfriend. A much more satisfying evening I think. I don't even need to see the jury ripping into the Donatos. I'm over it. If decide you to watch, I wish you a good time, whether you are rooting for the Donatos or the jury to rip them new ones.

Production also helped Janelle as much as it could season 6. Production helped Uchenna and Joyce make the last plane on TAR season 7. Production helped keep Rich/Rudy (can't remember exactly which one it was) over Stacey in Survivor. And on and on, Yet you only rant about the Donatos Fucking idiots we have in this forum.

THANKS! rig, rigged, rig·ging, rigs.To manipulate dishonestly for personal gain: rig a prizefight; rig stock prices. I think most people would go with this meaning of rig. Personally i don't think the show was rigged, because rigging would mean they knew the outcome of the show before it ended. Manipulated is a much better word to use, because they tried many things to get to a certain outcome they wanted.

I frankly could not find a single person to root for from the beginning. Yet I watched because watching the old guy with the dyed hair was funny. I'd say all the players including America's Player labored under the same handicap. Who knows if this Eric wouldn't have been this crappy a player all on his own. He did seem like a tool. So regardless if it was rigged or past seasons were rigged, the network got you all to watch.

Most of the other hamsters played awfully and made really bad choices. The fact that the other hamsters never figured out that splitting the Donatos up was a high priority show's just how badly most of them played. The fact that the other hamsters played so badly, even with the handicap of not being told about or able to plan for the AP vote, doesn't make the Donatos any better players or any more likeable. But the level of game play is pretty poor all the way around. It's like one of those action fills where the plot only works if everyone in the movie is as stupid as possible. It's like the scene where the villian spends 5 minutes talking, giving the hero all this extra time to find a way out, instead of just shooting the hero directly. In any event, I hope all of you watching the finale have a good time.

Google it if you have to, but if you keep the literary reference in mind, BB on CBS makes a whole lot of sense with respect to the 'DR manipulation'. The supreme ruler of the Party was Big Brother. Posters announced that "Big Brother is Watching You". Telescreens droned endlessly with brainwashing propaganda about wondrous government programs. So relax about the ever present DR! It IS part of the game whether you like it or not.

People can blame the AP and Grodner all they want but a very important reason D&D made F2 is these people were too fucking stupid to realize they should have never allowed a father and daughter to stay together in the game, not even for 1 week. This was nothing like the case of Nik and Cowboy where they were just 2 strangers who had never met. We're talking parent and child here. They all deserve to be sitting in the jury house for not having the good common sense to target the Donatos from day one and keep trying til they got them out. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
