Also, what was up with Dustin putting them out on front street about the very thin walls bullshit. Dustin would be getting some from Joe had he made it to Sequester. I hope it all works out well for Eric. I don't see anyone being rude to him. I think Jessica will be ok and if she is not, she won't lose it on national television. She has a reputation to uphold - besides... Carol will be there so she will have to look like she supports it at the very least. juss sayin ETA: my thanks as well. I thanked you a couple of weeks back but now that we are coming to an end, you deserve another. Thanks for sticking with us and sharing your families summer with us.

I dont think she will be the least bit upset. I can just see her giving eric that look now! I thought Eric would be getting $30,000 stipend + the $40,000? Bummer!! Cheap ass CBS! If he didnt complete any tasks would he just be getting $10,000?

The toll that the house has on your life, and the after effect, I would think he's looking a at least a year before life gets "normal" again. I am envious of you're trip to the wrap party. AP revele will be interesting to watch on TV, but the really cool stuff will be everyone going up to him as it sinks in later in the night say "OHhhhhhhh, so thats why you did this." The reveal on the live show will never be enough to satisfy the viewers.

Posts: 2211 (09/14/07 11:54 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i wouldn't judge eric's response on the jury footage about whether or not he will visit jessica in kansas. that is there business, but they talked about it a lot in private, when they where alone on the feeds anyway. this is just my opinion, and i can't read anyone's mind. it was probably awkard, because it was asked in front of the cameras, and something probably they wanted to discuss more privately, especially when it sounds like jessica hasn't been told about the ap yet.

I'm not hideously deformed and they have aired me 2xs this season - so between that and the AP reveal I hope I can manage a decent seat.

Maybe better than the average reporters who only watch the show (if that), but I saw his chats with Kaysar, Howie, and Janelle. He got mixed up on some really basic shit. He's also a terrible interviewer.

I wonder if they will show a clip of him talking about how nervous he was to tell the HGs. Allison's comment made me think that the reveal will not make Jessica think Eric was playing her or anything so that's good. The reveal of AP will be AFTER the votes but before the winner according to Allison so it will probably be about half way into the show.

But it will be funny if Julie says we have one more twist to reveal--and d/d are sitting there thinking-what the f***....Because it will be done after the votes are cast but before the winner is announced....it's all the show has left so they have to play it up as a big part of the show to make sure people tune in. It's all I'm interested in.

I agree 100% on this. A lot of stuff gets totally blown up here at Sucks and jokers but doesn't really reflect even close to the majority in terms of the viewers general perception. A lot of times, especially here, people will look for anything to make a huge deal over as a way to attack the houseguest (and defend their favorites). Since Dick has been such a total a-hole all season (love him or hate him for it) people have really been grasping for any reason to use what other HGs have said behind each others' backs to attack their character and defend Dick's. I think the he-said-she-said flame wars have been the worst ever at this place, this season. When it comes down to it, most people would be rational enough to know that while some of the things that have been said were mean, they weren't meant to be taken seriously. This of course doesn't apply to amber's bigotry. That was just gross. So yeah I would say tell him about one or two specific things that people didnt really care for but make sure he understands that the general consensus is that he did a good job. He being such a huge fan of the show, probably knows about the frienship's cold reception post-S6 and I'm sure that sort of thing would worry him at least a little bit. Seeing as most people seemed to either really like Eric or even if they didnt, were impressed with how far he got given the circumstances with the AP thing, thats the thing I would stress to him right away. He did an amazing job making it to the final 5 considering all he had to juggle. We wish he would not have had to be AP - as we think he certainly would have stood a much better chance at winning the game if he had been allowed to follow his own agenda. I'm sure at the very least Jess and E will be friends--I know Senor is sensitive to the E moving to Kansas thing--so I won't go there--and I have nothing bad to say about Cheryl but I hope that Eric finds (or stays with) someone who will really be dedicated to him and not be on again/off again--Jess seems really mature and together for her age and I don't think she would lead him on but she is young and maybe not ready for a serious relationship yet.
