I'm surprised that anyone would maintain their initial weight loss. When they get back into the real world, back to families and jobs, it's hard to
work out 6-8 hours a day. The exercise will have to be cut in half. And after that time period of intense exercising, their metabolism will be out of whack.
The slightest drop in exercise, or the slightest rise in calorie consumption, and then boom...

O.K. folks, please tell me I'm not seeing things. If anyone taped this besides me please check out the segment right after Dre gets weighed. They show a shot of the bleachers with Marty sitting next to Pete. Pan away for a moment and then back and you can clearly see Brian from last's year's showThank you so much for saying this!!! I thought I was imagining things, but I'm glad to know that someone else saw it, too. If I were him, I'd be PISSED that they didn't air any of his segment. He was looking good!!! |

This show was mostly BS ("Have they kept the weight off"). They refused to show what the contestant's final weight was at the end of their
respective seasons, so we could see if they really kept off the weight. Most had gained some back.
The first person they brought out (was it Marty?), weighed 240 pounds on the show. I swear he was wearing a girdle (when he was hugging the hostess I thought I could see girdle lines along his back). He is not that tall (5' 10" or so, I bet), and no way could he weigh 240 pounds and not have a gut sticking out (heck, even someone 6'3" would have a bit of a gut). Anyway, I am looking forward to the next season. I actually thought they gave away too much about the twist during the promo (heck, they did not hold anything back). I would have liked to have been surprised when the Black Team suddenly appears. |

Amber(team red) whines her way to an eviction. Jerry(team blue) loses 31#,most by anyone at a weigh-in. Kae(team blue) loses 20#,most ever by a woman at a
weigh-in. Only team red and team blue were at the final weigh-in. Team black joins next week. They were on just not part of the last weigh-in.

Why were ALL of the posts made on 9/11 deleted from this thread? YUKU can BLOW ME!

Yes, Yuku blows, officially, per the Good News, Bad News thread.
I like the black team gimmick, but I would think it would be better with an additional week, after two people in the main house failed to rub it in. Also, I have a question about their eating. Are they in control of their own eating? Is that why some don't lose as much--they haven't as severely cut the calories? |

Are they going to repeat episodes on Bravo? I missed the first episode and I really wanted to watch it

have they repeated on BRAVO before? That'd be good if they do - this is going to be on opposite BONES, which I hate to miss. |

I love the black team concept. Just what this tired show needed. Jillian was great last night. Love Ali Sweeney too.
Wanted to smack that crap out of Amber (the one who got voted off). She definately dug her own grave there. |

I don't watch this, but a girl on the new season (Isabeau) graduated my high school 3 years before me. Her father is my doctor. I never talked to her, but
everyone always said how good of a singer she was, so I'm not surprised she's around Nashville now. Did she get eliminated? If not, hope she does good!

I'm really glad my DVR automatically taped it, because I did not see this season start date coming. The premiere was two hours. Not sure if they do repeats. On Bravo, usually. |

I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooved the part with Jillian, the motorcycle, and the outcats finding out they would be a team. Even though the damn NBC
promo gave EVERYTHING away. The one time a reality tv show has a good surprise, they just go ahead and ruin it instead of saying "Tune in for the biggest
surprise ever!!!".. I guess they know we wouldn't have believed them anyways probably. Oh well, it was still a cool moment.
Although if I was one of the people on the bus in the middle of nowhere and I saw somebody drive by going back to where I came from in complete black in a motorcycle I would be a little suspicious. And finally.... how do we know this show isn't completely rigged? They can put whatever number they want for everybody's weight pretty much. |
