I stopped watching this show after about 9 episodes of the first season. It just got so predictable after a while.
Every show follows this format: A crime happens No one at the police station thinks the Psych guy can do it Psych guy gets hired after magically catching on to some minute detail Black guy doesn't believe in Psych guy and tries to get him to leave the case Bitchy White police guy doesn't believe in Psych Weird shit happens Talk with his dad Psych saves the day |

It's not about the crime o' the week. There are a hundred other procedural shows out there that can do the crime stuff better. Just like House
isn't really about the medical stuff.
This show is all about the chemistry and banter between Sean and Gus. Actually, this show is basically the male equivalent of Gilmore Girls -- witty banter, pop culture references, quirky humor. Gilmore Guys, if you will. |

Last night's episode made me laugh quite a bit, and my daughter was looking at me funny because she's too young to get a lot of it.
Did the guy playing Lassie actually hurt his arm? It's been in a sling for a couple episodes, but I don't remember it being mentioned on the show at all. |

It was mentioned one or two episodes ago. I think Shawn asked him about it and Juliet said something like "He won't tell anyone what happened".
My guess is he really hurt it and that's how they are "working it in" to the show
Last night's episode was great! I loved when Shawn was talking to his dad about that guy passing for a teenager and Shawn said something like "slap a wig on you and you look exactly like you did when I was a kid"

this show isn't about predictability!! It is the chemistry of the characters! This is by far my biggest stress relief! James and Dule are my fav guys on TV!! |

I'm still watching (this is still one of my favorite shows on TV), but I'm behind several episodes. I've got them recorded but haven't had a
chance to sit down and actually watch them yet. Hopefully this weekend.
