First off to Eric's fans - thanks for the support it was/is very much appreciated- please go drop some in the Eric with the weird shaped head love thread (still love that title).

Second, to the haters thanks to you too for providing a true sucks experience and having such a passionate reaction to Eric. Better to be hated than to prompt no reaction at all.

And to everyone in between, who debated, theorized, strategized, and got into odd off-topic discussions with me (from ufc for baconators to wrestling to football and back) sucks has been a big part of this experience for me - good and bad - I and appreciate everyone's interest and that you all took time to follow the game and contribute to the thread. For the most part it's been fun.

As for tonight - as I said this morning (and then Eric ripped me off to Julie) I was at peace with this. He'd been checked out of the game since Zach's HOH win, and proved virutally incapable of winning comps when he needed to - and while strategizing and campaigning is a big part of the game, sometimes you've got to win a comp. I thought his goodbye to Jess was touching; his speeches after pov and before voting very good; and his conversation with Julie telling and truthful. He got outplayed and out-maneuvered this week and his exit in the instant had nothing to do with AP (sure you could speculate that w/out AP D/D aren't there this week but that sort of speculation doesn't accomplish anything). As for his farewell it summed up Eric very well - a mix of good sportsmanship, appreciation for gamesmanship, vaguely threatening remarks which he won't follow up on (AP controls his vote), and unnecessary trash-talking. Heh. So he gets 50K in total (putting him in a virtual tie for 2nd) - gets to spend 10 or so days in sequester (if it even exists) w/ Jess and his ipod, and he can begin to decompress a bit before the finale. Not a bad summer gig for a guy who made under 30K a year.

Going forward this has to be Dani's game to lose. She's the best at comps by far and has Dick and Zach as her shields. Doubt anything too exciting will happen but you never know. Maybe god really does have a plan for jameka to win...that can't be right, can it? (at this point part of me wants Dick to win, another part of me thinks a Jam/Z final 2 would be a funny screw job to BB - the one thing i do know is i really don't want to have to see Dani win - i like Dick, i do not like Dani).

I was going to say in the words of the immortal porky pig "that's all folks" - but you know me - I may post less but I'm not going anywhere (well I may post a lot less for a few days until I can push through this crap at work)...you guys can't get rid of me that easy, I'm like mold, I grow on you.
