I really only knew those two songs by Nu Shooz, but I liked them.
I'll take the two by Nu Shooz and raise you one by the Communards and another by Simple Minds (and not the very good but very overplayed "Alive and Kicking"). I think that's the way it's said.

OMG. I saw the Communards live in the coolest little intimate setting. And they were awesome.

Hard to believe that the Communards "Don't Leave Me This Way" is 20 years old. Damn.

Love it! Thanks for posting that, Strange Flute. I wonder if there's any way an avi could be made out of part of it? |

Level 42's "Something About You" - one of my all-time favorite songs. In 1987, my sister and I went to a Madonna concert mainly to see them -
they were opening for her. The only people paying attention to them were us and about six other people in our section...it was at Soldier Field in Chicago and
we were about halfway back on the field from the stage. They saw the eight or so of us dancing after a coupleof songs, called us out, and ended up playing to
us the rest of their set and blew a kiss our way as they left the stage.

Have you seen Jackie? She's a strange strange strange...little boy...
Wonder if this is a clue to the Timmy thing>? Great thread...bringing back the greats. I really hate it when people get all nostalgic for the 80s and then start talking about hair bands, Janet Jackson or Debbie Gibson. THIS is the real music. BTW, you forgot all the Ska.
