Ambore is the one who started the Nick demise on the day Dustin made his nominations.

Amber reports Nick's movement to Dustin. She reports Nick is "comforting her," but in reality is probably "playing her." She thinks Jen is putting on an act, and then tells Dustin, "I think Zach, Nick and Jen are in an alliance." Dustin nods, keeping with the Nick conspiracy theory. Depending on the PoV, Amber suggests, "You might just be able to back-door Nick."

Then the LNC took over the night before the POV, with Dick's suggesting Nick and Eric backing him up:

There is a "late night crew" in the BB8 house. The crew comprises Dick, Daniele, Amber, Jameka and Dustin. They have gathered in the HoH room to discuss the veto and who will go up in Jen's place if the veto is used: Nick or Zach. Dick says Nick should go, and Eric backs him up, saying he would "love to see Nick go home…because he is a fierce competitor." Daniele defends her fella, claiming she'd prefer to send Jen home as "she lies to people, she manipulates people" and Daniele wants her out of the game. Amber counters her claim, arguing that Nick does the same thing. Daniele is hurt by the comment and leaves the room. Jessica pipes, "I don't mean to be a bitch, but we shouldn't have to deal with Daniele's personal life. Strategically, it is better for (Nick) to go now." As the conversation continues upstairs, Daniele retreats to the bathroom and weeps for her doomed "showmance." She feels Nick's nomination "puts (her) in an unfair position." Jameka thinks Zach should go over Nick, but the crew has yet to decide.

Nick Outta Time?
There might as well be a drum roll, because the suspense leading up to the Veto ceremony is so palpable. Jameka knows what she's going to do, but will she follow the house majority or make a decision borne out of her individual reasoning? Zach "doesn't see (Dustin) putting me on the block." Nick is "not at all worried," whereas Kail worries, "If Jameka takes Jen off the block, then Dustin needs to follow through with his word." The ceremony is convened, and the women make their pleas for salvation. Jen stands and plays up to Jameka's faith, reiterating, "Everything happens for a reason." Kail says they are all friends and it's an unfair position to have to ask for her to be saved over her friend. Jameka stands and reveals her decision. She uses the Power of Veto to remove Jen from the block. Jen and Jameka hug as Jen takes her seat, a grin firmly on her lips. When Dustin stands and announces her replacement, his words take a few by surprise: "There are people in this house who have…been playing both sides. With that said, Nick, I nominate you for eviction." Nick is stone-faced as he realizes he is on thin ice. Daniele weeps, "It sucks. It just makes it very hard." Dustin's advice to his housemates is sharp: "The personal stuff that goes on in this house has to be cut. Clip it, bitches, it's a game. Don't get too attached." Nick thinks he's being targeted as he'll be a bigger threat further on in the game. Kail's face shows her worry as she suspects she is being targeted for eviction "The plan was to be sitting next to Zach, not Nick," she observes. "So I don't know what Dustin's doing now…This could be a huge problem."
