Ah another morning greets with me with the latest BB drama -

POV - do we know what the actual comp was? Who came in second? Anything other than Janie, Janie, Janie?

As for Janie, I used to be a fan but not anymore - and it's not b/c she hates Eric - big deal - he called her fat repeatedly and got her boy Nick evicted - whatever. It's that she took those personal feelings into the POV comp knowing that it could hurt his game. Moreover, given that she wasn't exactly shy about her intentions it is a shame that the producers once again exposed the HGs to an outside element and that might impact the game. Great job yet again Grodner.

Thankfully, sensing it could be an issue, Eric already gave a very simple and believable explanation for her anger - he called her miss piggy right before the comp and she heard him. Given how he had talked about the "one piece" many times before in front of many of them it's believable.

Between now and Monday D/D/Z will discuss every possibility 200xs. People can't get all freaked out by every talk or we'll all go nuts. (Remember when Eric/Jess were going up for an hour yesterday? It didn't happen.) Ultimately, I think the noms will stay the same. That allows Zach to keep his initial target on the block while setting the stage for a possible Jess eviction if D/D wanted to break the F4 agreement.

As much as it's going to make now until Monday (and then Monday to Thursday) tense - this actually isn't horrible for Eric. First, he now avoids the situation that he was worried about last night - having AP have him evict Jameka over Jess' protests (making me wonder if he threw it again to not have that situation). Second, no matter what Janie said and whether or not it has any greater meaning, I just can't see them back-dooring Eric b/c Dick and Dani have both repeatedly said that they want Jess out before Eric. She is friends with almost all of the jury and has 2 HOH wins. Conversely, they believe Eric is hated by the jury, can't win an HOH at all, and if they didn't tell Eric Jess was leaving and she was evicted, he would be shell-shocked and off his game for HOH. Then D/D could win and put up Eric/Jameka and decide what to do later.

Of course, if they sandbag Jess it is just as likely Eric will be enraged and win a trivia HOH, find out it's a FF round and AP won't be at play and he'll return the favor by putting up D/D. Then unless Zach wins POV there's a 1-1 tie vote that Eric breaks by sending Dani to the van to meet Jess. Leaving us with Jameka/Eric vs. Zach/Dick with all 4 being able to play for HOH.

Obviously I want the noms to stay the same. And then I want Jameka to go - with AP endorsement to bump Eric to 40K. However, given how it's hurt his game - if the noms stayed the same and Jess left, one could argue that - just like when he was almost evicted - it will snap him back into the game and let him play without the Jess factor for the final stretch - all without having gotten his hands bloodied at all. I know he wouldn't be happy, but objectively it might improve his chances of making F2.

jessica doesn't hate eric now. she was just upset that eric lost the veto, and she is still nominated. geez she is also on her period people take some things way to seriously. people fight doesn't mean they end up hating each other forever.

long-term she would have actually been much more upset if Eric won POV, saved her, and then helped get jameka evicted --

of course, she needs to actually push for D/D to honor the F4 alliance and not just put it on Eric to do all the heavy lifting -- and somehow arranging another jam/zach or jam/dick fight wouldn't hurt either...

Nancy - one only hopes that after the producers see some of the feedback from janie's drunken attempts to influence the game last night they'll give eric something for sunday like "whose hand should eric slap" to make sure he gets to 40K - b/c then, even if he's back-doored as a result of janie's comments he'll still have made more than everyone but the winner (40K + stipend instead of 2nd who gets 50K minus the stipend).
