PTCRUISN59 I wouldnt watch Big Brother 1 since the show was different back then there wasn't all the great twists and tasks. if I was you I would start
with Big Brother 5 or 6 since they are truly the best. Big Brother 5 had fantastic twists, it was the first year BB went evil it was amazing and BB6 had big
amazing characters and the tasks were flawless.

I wanna see the evolution of Big Brother though. I mean, BB1 is so rudimentary that they didn't even know if they were going to do daily shows until the
show hit popular about a week in. They were doing every few day recaps. It's kinda strange...not to mention the ABSENCE of Davina until day 14! That was
defo strange.
About the Brian win. I knew at the start of the second show...for some reason...that the only "shock" the entire season would be Brian winning in the end. I also knew after the article about the twins was posted a few days back that the bookies would SCRAMBLE to beat the odds. BB betting is stupid...because leaks DO happen and the fact is it's so rare surprise things happen anymore. And, if Bookies get involved they can tamper with results. And we all know what happens when you tamper with the results.

That article was the first thing I thought of when Brian won. I figured the bookies just hired a few call centers to call Brian's number all week to prevent losing all that money.Exactly. They save themselves from going to the deep red in the accounts book.. Bascially a cash cow for the bookies doing this for Brian. |

I am so pissed that Brian won. This season was great at the ok as a whole and I feel when people look back on it they will like much more then they do now.The
problem with this season was obviously the evictions. The show was strong untill Charley returened from her fake eviction after that the show sunk and kept on
sinking and we were left with people who were dull one diminsional we are family kinda houseguests. There were a few great tasks (fake week and the Birthday
task) and plenty of dull ones, the twists sucked, especially the Halfway House. Has anyone noticed a pattern that has happened since with the ratings...... BB3
had amazing ratings BB4 sucked in both ratings and entertainment, BB5 rocked in entertainment and ratings, BB6 bombed in ratings but the shoe was incredible,
bb7 had good ratings, BB8 had horrible ratings it seems that people tune out every other year. Cant wait till BB9

I'm bothered that Brian even came close to winning, he isn't a deserving winning, anyone can act like a retard. I would have preffered The twins of
Liam since they actually had some sort of journey.
This is as bad as Aisleyene being robbed last year

This would have really turned around the overall series for me and now it's just another shit winner. Sidenotes: Davina looked fantastic loved Dermina from BBLB earlier Senaie looked like HELL. What happened to him? Carole's poem was quite sweet the twins learning they never got 1 single nom 
Brian's lack of even ONE plain white shirt. He had a numbered jersey under a dress shirt! Jesus christ I have the majority of reality TV viewers. I truly do. They (almost) never ever get it right. . Sigh... |

He should have been voted out at the beginning. Sorry, I honestly don't believe he is fake at all. Not one thing this entire season has led me to believe that. Can I just say that the whole set for the finale was absolutely amazing. Usually finale sets are nothing special but this one was beautiful with the big black
wall and lights behind the stairs and the many colors and lights used. Thats what I love about the multi-colored eye was that for any type of show sets would
be very colorful and bright.

points to some insiders taking advantage of the situation. There's also a rumor going around that insiders had been intentionally giving bookies false
information in the last couple of weeks to bring down Brian's odds. Another possiblity is the bookies faked the odds in the twins favor to make them
artificial favorites.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but you cna't deny that the twins had a seemingly insurmountable lead going in and suddenly Brian takes it. Bookies
stand to lose millions if the twins win and at the last moment they don't. Was it false info being fed to the bookies/ Bookies giving out false info? Or is
sit just the simple fact that come finale time the voters practically doubles. and the average viewer who generally doesn't vote does so on finale night.

I'm sure they make massive amounts of cash as well doing all of these tricks etc..it's sad though, cause it's supposed to be the publics show. But most viewers don't even know about the betting etc...so BB doesn't even care about the fixing I'm sure. Nobody can prove it 100% and it can all be washed away as hear'say if it ever leaked out big to the press etc... Plus, having a black winner and an indian winner for CBB in Jan is great for the whole BB racism stuff this year. |

Worst finale ever. Not just because it gave us the shittiest winner (someone steal the crown from that cardboard box that Anthony lives in!), but because it
was predictable as fuck. I hit upon the exact boot order in my guessing post, the interviews were boring as fuck, we didn't even get to hear from the
ex-housemates, Chanelle and Charley mugged it up for the cameras shamelessly, and then the crowd gave away that an actor so convincing he should be in the
Royal Shakespeare Company was the champion ten seconds into the first phone-lines pitch. Bleh.
Worst season ever? A few addendums: To the poster starting BBUK1, stick with it. It gets great and there's some fantastic characters including my favorite final two. Much better than this season, and I liked it better than BB5. Everyone has their own tastes I guess, but I don't think the older seasons are necessarily inferior to the new ones. If anything the casts had less paperweight back then although the Daily Shows were only a 1/2 hour, so...... Secondly, the bookies didn't throw Brian a ton of votes at the end. Not even. They just artificially inflated the odds for the twins in order to make a ton of money off people. Brian had most of the crowd chanting his name at an eviction over a month ago and there was no reason for any of them to suddenly turn against him. The bastards knew Brian would win and so did I because there was never any indication in the other shows (OTC, BBLB, BBBM) that the twins had such a devout following (especially one that could have trumped Brian 70-30 according to those odds). A scandal? Not really. Just some idiotic betters falling for an old trick. Still can't believe the public bought into this guy. Pete pandered a bit, but the psych tests did reveal he was the least Machiavellian, etc...that was him if slightly exaggerated. Everyone knows there's cameras and plays it up a bit for them, but it's become increasingly moreso with each successive season to the point where the prize will now be given to the best actor. Hell, if Carole/Laura weren't so damn lazy, they could have kept their opening night charade up for three months and have 100,000 pounds.
