Wow, Kendra was the 1 vote for Christa. After everything you would think she would of voted against Jay 100%. I was convinced the stray vote was from Jupiter
or Azmyth.

How'd you find out the vote was from Kendra?

The Kendra vote is on the voting history on the main website.
I would bitch about the jury voting, the bitterness, Jay this Jay that, but it seems to already have been covered. The show would have been much better had he won or at least made finals and lost at the hand of Ben, whom he idiotically (debatably) kept around for so long despite being his largest competitor. The other thing is it seems as though every Treasure Tracker (on other websites, in this thread, and my own) are somehow significantly different. Thanks for helping CBS. Anyways, just thought I'd point out (if it hasn't already been done) that the final three had the highest gold tallies (Ben > Jay > Christa) followed by all three members of Ben's final crew. Even with Nessa being money hungry in the final (<3 her), she still didn't even end up in the top 50% (random: if she didn't blow $11,500, net loss, on the pardons, she would follow directly behind Ben's crew in the final treasure tally). Joe Don didn't fall in the top 50% either, he really didn't deserve such a bad rap in retrospect. Well, this was better than Treasure Hunters for the summer... er, well, maybe... cosign the next Mark Burnett trainwreck, has he turned out a good show since Survivor (and we all know Apprentice is in the can by now)? |

As much grief as Kendra got, I think she's underrated and have a new respect for her after seeing her vote for the best player to stay, in Jay, even though
she out of everyone should have booted his ass. And she was the only one smart enough to realize that the triad was a triple headed snake, and didn't just
see Azmyth as the enemy.

I felt Jay was robbed in not being able to at least compete for the final treasure for himself since I don't see Christa as anything but boobs and a pawn
personally. I agreed fully with Kendra's assessment of her. However, it's nice to know that Jay came in 2nd place in overall cash winnings. He
definitely deserved that. It was shocking that Christian only made $200 but I'm assuming they all got paid simply for being on the show or am I wrong?
Too bad there wasn't a finale, they'd have all made an additional $10,000 like Survivor cast members get. Personally I loved Azmyth. I'd have
loved to see him go farther but at least he got a final run. Louie's laugh got much too annoying and I think it was overkill that it was the last thing we
heard as the non-picked ghosts rowed away. That's probably the one reason I didn't get the Louie love. His laugh was as nails on a chalkboard as
Rupert's roars. Oh well, I enjoyed watching it. It's a shame they didn't let it finish out on TV but it was more convenient to watch it on the
internet. I wonder how Survivor: China will do.

Kinda loved Ben at the end when he was getting slammed during the ghost selection. For once, I was pretty happy with the winner of a reality show (though a bad
reality show). And John pledging his eternal allegiance to Christa when he was around for about 30 seconds of the entire trip -- creepy. Very creepy.
Cheryl, god bless. Edited repeatedly because my brain is mush.

I'm really glad Ben won over Christa. What was the deal with everyone wanting Christa to win so bad? What did Ben really do to them that caused them to absolutely villify him? Whatever, Christa played a lame-ass game as Jay's pawn and didn't deserve to be in the final challenge over him.How the hell did Ben not play a lame-ass game as Jay's pawn? Can we say sexist? That said, Jay and Christa deserved to lose for keeping Ben around. Fucking idiots could have easily beat Louie in the end. I'm glad I looked at a spoiler so I don't have to watch this shit and be disappointed. Ben - worst. winner. ever. for worst. show. ever. |

Because at least Ben tried to make a move against Jay. She heard one negative thing about Ben, and black-spotted him instead. Then again, she thought Jay would
be the only one to possibly mutiny, and what does she do? Give him all the power. It's like she loved his kids as much as her own.
Jay, now he made a big mistake in keeping Ben, so while you could look at it like he was robbed, but had he not made such a dumbass decision, he probably would not have lost. |

so while you could look at it like he was robbed, but had he not made such a dumbass decision, he probably would not have lost.I haven't watched the episode yet (due to disappointment over the winner) but with Ben voted out fourth, wouldn't Christa be most likely to win the final expedition, with Jay being voted against by the Ghost Pirates by an even bigger majority? Not that it wasn't a dumb move, but I think he was just plain screwed by a ridiculous ending twist more than a dumbass strategist. |

For the people having trouble playing the 2nd half of the final episode, it played in Innertube, just won't play on the website

I just went there. It cut out at the same spot it did on the CBS site.

I've found that using Real is usually better than Windows Media Player and that going straight to innertube.cbs.com generally works better. But I'm
sure results will vary.
Even though the show found its stride late in the season (way too late to save it), the finale exhibited two of the biggest problems: -Twists for the sake of twists. With a SHOCKING TWIST you get about 15 seconds of "Oh shit!" then the rest of the series thinking about how cheap it was. Same with Jay's ouster tonight. The ghost pirates thing was mildly interesting, but it would've been much more interesting throughout the course of the series if Jay (and the other pirates) knew that was a possibility and altered his strategy accordingly. -The trailing crews can catch up just by following. I was rooting for Christa but she did not deserve to win after the way her crew just followed Ben's to get the wheel. As far as the differing money totals, I'm sure there were many many side deals that were never shown on TV. The rules for the money were that it could not be lost or stolen, so assumably production kept a running total of who had what. It would've been a neat website feature to post all the monetary transactions, even the ones not shown on the actual show. So in the end it was a flawed show but I'm glad I stuck with it. What I really am going to miss though are those opening credits. Kickass music there. |

I'm so annoyed on so many levels.
I'm watching the final three eppies tonight, and paused to vent before seeing who goes to the F2 with Ben.
Louie's a dolt. Why the hell he let Ben row initially confounds me. The guy had to have known on some level that the fix was in, but did he try a Twila/Chris wedge play? Nope. Dumbass, buh-bye.
The F3 challenge: as fixed for Ben as possible. Yup, there were some mental tasks involved, but the bulk needed someone who slog through the mud.
Anybody above yet shown the lurve for Christa's blonde comment on the bag?
The main reason I'm annoyed: that was one of the best TC's I've ever seen. As sad as it was to see Cheryl again, the entire gang of ghosties seemed more aware of the gameplay that went before them than any Survivor cast.
Did EPMB show them the dailies or something?
Example: how did they see that Ben had thrown the challenge? Nessa I think mentioned that she'd seen him do that. That's different from Louie telling them about it.
Anyhow, I know who wins thanks to that suddenly self-promoting asshole Dehnart at Realityblurred.com, but I have to give props to whatever EPMB minion was responsible for the tail end of this series: It didn't completely suck. |

That's different from Louie telling them about it.Ben told Louie during his final pirate's court, who I'm sure told the rest in sequester or whatever. This show definitely didn't suck. It sucked that it got cancelled and it sucked that Cheryl killed herself, but other than that, I enjoyed it, especially for a throwaway summer show. It had some really good personalities and it was a new format to the "vote em off" style reality shows, which are my favorite. If it was on a few years ago, it may have been better received. Reality TV domination is dead. If it doesn't have dancing, singing, or celebrities, America ain't interested anymore.

Another note: was it Nessa? Whomever's gibe to get a job to Christa on the whoring of her daughter.
YAY! Something still ain't right with the Christa backstory. Anyhow, now it's Christa vs. Ben. I loved Laurel igoring the Captain, and the shot of her chilling out in the webbing above the bow. That's our girl, personified right there. |
