If he weren't so emotional and more rational, he could be a decent guy. If it wasn't for the consequences of his choices he might still be as handsome as he was in his younger years.

He could have handled the Jen situation way better after she told him not to touch her. Instead of letting his bruised ego lash out on her, he could show her that just because he smokes and is in his 40s doesn't mean he is repulsive by befriending her and getting to really know her and vice versa. Jen disliking him for being in his 40s and a smoker would then have been seen as shallow/superficial. But, then the show wouldn't be as "entertaining" as it is, I guess. He could have taken the high road with her but chose instead to be a big baby about the situation.

Rather than just see her for being a superficial wally and move on, he had to prove she was worthless and therefore the rejection wouldn't really count.

I hated him when he went off on Jen and Kail and I loved it when he went off on Seahag/Dustin/Eric. Maybe because I feel the later three deserved it. One thing is for sure is that he needs to learn how to control his mouth. As entertaining as his rants may be (at times), he is only making himself look like an asshole. He has set himself up to be the perfect final 2 goat.
