Anyone else think it was bullshit that CBS tried to make ammends for screwing Jen over in the game by letting her dunk people for the HOH competition? WOOHOO

I completely agree. I thought the edit was pretty positive towards Jen. The whole cigarette scene we didn't even get to see on the feeds, because they cut out pretty quickly. That's when I finally went from being pretty ambivalent towards the stuff Jen had to deal with (apart from the obvious bashing from Dick), to being completely on her side, and wanting the rest of the house (except for Zach and Jameka) to just suck it. Because that's the first time I've ever seen Jen show any actual emotion. I finally got how truly upset she was. I finally felt true sympathy towards her. And nothing I'd seen on the feeds had quite gotten me there yet. So kudos to the editors, for finally turning me into a Jen convert, at least. After watching her be stoic for weeks, watching her melt down as she desperately tried to grab the cigarette from Dick's face was actually somewhat shocking. I really, truly felt horrible for her. She looked devestated. |
