Do you realize that a sample of the US is more accurate by having around 70% whites? I don't mean to sound racist, but there is a reason blacks/asians/hispanics are considered minorities. When there are basically the same number of each racial group represented it really is unbalanced. |

It's impossible to be accurate with only 16 people. There'll always be somebody screwed. At least with a 5 5 5 5 split, Survivor can cater to more
people.

Bring back racial quotas I would prefer to have a choice of homeless black guy emo black guy or super black guy to root for as opposed to just the black guy.I don't understand why such a big deal is made out over this. I'm gay and I enjoy seeing gay guys up on screen, but I don't complain over the many seasons with no openly gay characters (s2,5,6,7,12,14). Also like you I'd like a choice, rather than being stuck with one gay guy to root for. Just be thankful that you got two seasons with ethnic diversity, AND still 1-2 African-Americans per season (bar s11). We're called minorities for a reason! You can't please all of the people all of the time.

a season with 16 hot white guys. It's weird having these minority-heavy seasons, because there isn't much in the way of eye-candy for a
shallow-superficial-gay-white guy like me.

I'd like to see them even it out age-wise. It seems like the middle aged and older players are often the more intereting, but again this season seems
stacked to the 20 somethings (who rarely are all that fasinating)

I gotta agree.
Having the minority quota added an extra layer of strategy to the show, as people could not now only align by men vs women, or old vs young, but now with people of their own race. Does this have anything to do with no white people making the last two final four?...or Dreamz just being illiterate? haha |

Hey, what about the under representation of folks involved in the Entertainment industry?
Between the models, wrestler, dancer, and musician only 30% of the cast had an entertainment connection. Isn't it normally closer to 50% in Southern California? |

The racial quotas were ridiculous. Really, I don't care if the next season is 12 African-Americanss, 2 Asian-Americans and 2 Aboriginals as long as they
were all cast solely because of entertainment potential and not for the color of their skin. A racial casting policy is racist in itself.

Why isn't anyone raising an issue that there haven't been any Europeans on the show? Racism!
The producers should just have one deaf gay half black, half asian hindu transvestite from Puerto Rico who practises Islam on the show every season, so many of the minorities would be covered... |

wait what 14 seasons and only 1 red-head??? -Lisi, who was actually only a red head in the right light.
I agree with them needing more older people. NOT Thailand or Africa level, but jsut more or atleast 1 person over 50. Of all 14 winners, the one demographic missing from the winners circle is someone over 50 (!!!) |
