Huh. Well, I liked Jason and Will's films best in week one. If you'd told me then that they were going to be the final two, I would have been
thrilled. Little did I know that Will was going to go on to produce such dreck or that Adam would actually step up and make some really good films. The order
of the final three was the exact reverse of what I wanted. And Adrianna didn't even show her tits!
The only good thing about the finale was getting to laugh at Mateen's RIDICULOUS hairstyle. |

Zach's "Die Hardly Working" was easily the best film of the season, so Adam choosing it bade well. Jason choosing a Mateen film, especially that
hunk of crap, showed questionable taste. And Will choosing a cheesy Hillary film... yeah, Adam was robbed.

I loved how Adrianna announced "the winner of On The Lot 2007 is..." like there was going to be another season.
I wasn't happy Zach didn't make the finals but at least he's probably regarded as the most promising of the contestants. He'll do well on his own. Will winning. Meh. Anyone really cares what he's going to come up with in the next year or so with Dreamworks? |

Adam should've won. Will was pretty obviously the winner but I wish Adam at least made the top two. He and Zach should do a film together, that would be
the only good thing to come out of this show.

Yuck to the final results show. I'd say of the final 6, the winner was my least favorite. Leave it to this show to turn the last two episodes into long,
dull retrospectives.

I wasn't paying close attention at all. Did they ever say that Adam had the least amount of votes or that Will and Jason were the top vote-getters? If so,
I'd take it on face value. On SYTYCD, they clearly and deliberately did NOT say that Lacey had the least votes or that Danny was in the top two. That's
why so many of us believe that the order of #2 - #4 on SYTYCD is in question...

 Well, I'm not impressed. Adam was by far the best and deserved the
win. Will's sad eyes and references to family/needing money really pissed me off. His movies were 'fine' but not nearly as good as Adam overall.
Zach was the one who should have 'been' in the final 3. I hope his work is noted and he gets many offers! (Adam too). Blah to another bad ending.

Scree, I'm not convinced that Adam/Will/Jason actually got to pick their favorite of their competitor's films. It seemed a bit pat that the three films
chosen represented a white guy, a woman and a minority [the only black person there]. Demographics rather than quality seemed to be the motivation there. You
said it yourself - why would anybody with taste choose Mateen's or Hilary's dreck?
If it was really up to them, what would have happened if all three of them picked a film by Zach? It would be embarassing that he wasn't in the finale... |

True. Much like the choreographer's picks on SYTYCD. You could tell they really wanted to pick others, but had to pick one that fit the flow of the show
(scheduled elims).

I'm sure it was scripted - maybe they had the choice of films from someone chosen by production.
I'm happy with Will winning. All his films had a very finished, balanced look and I liked the humor in them. |

Well, I posted who I wanted to win and in what order and the complete opposite happened.
Winner should have been Adam, then Jason then Will. Adam was by far the best all around package of director and creator and writer. Jason was the best director and had the best style but his concepts, although good, weren't as good IMO as Adam's. Will trailed behind both in both categories - directing and writing/ideas. Will had some good films but I think he also had quite a few crappy ones that just pailed in comparison to anything Jason or Adam ever made. He won b/c of his sob story/family and b/c he's likeable, not b/c he deserved it. End of Story. |

Um, major suckage... Adam owned that win! To come 'third' is
an insult. Whoever (um, America?) votes, got it wrong....big time! Will and his sad 'my family, my family' yes , earned second but Adam was by far the
best.
