Louie, you can sing though you do need to work on the breathing. Kinda generic voice too. Hope this wasn't too harsh. You're still cool.

rrygun, you have a really unique voice. Your voice has an older, folk-country singer quality that might turn away teenyboppers but it definitely is a strong one.

I like it rry, it's the type of music I would listen to. However, only problem is I don't know if they would be willing to have that type of singer on the show. They'd probably boot you just for not being what "they" are looking for. So it's more a knock on them then on you
Anyways, last shot. I gave it two more trys and I promise no more singing from me after this. I didn't want everyones final opinion that I was no good. Anyways the first one is Oasis Don't Look Back in Anger. The second is the kind of music I want to sing, it's Lua by Bright Eyes. Probably my favorite of the 3 I have posted. Thanks Louie. I don't know if being a folky singer would get me on AI either. My only hope is that they want the shock factor. I look nothing like what my voice would suggest (me being a 20 something proper cleancut neat haircut conservative type). Being a pharmacist hopefully would help me with the whole interesting contestant thing.
I liked both of your new songs. I just wish I could hear you better. But from what I can gather, there's something there to work with. You have more of a mainstream type voice than I do, so if you can get the whole interesting story thing down then who knows? Whoever is the first Suckster to get on AI, I hope they're supported. |

Lots of contestants who auditioned over the summer are now going through the judges round...or will be in the next 3-4 weeks and will be getting their golden
tickets. During that time, we'll see lots of names pop up. For now, let's keep those names in this thread until we get something solid, then I suppose
me might start a new thread for them...maybe. Until that's settled, just keep the names here. K? Remember, this thing doesn't start for another 4
months...

According to that Idol Auditions show on TV Guide channel, the Brittenum Twins tried out and are going to Hollywood again. They interviewed them briefly
during the show at the venue. I am not sure HOW they got on again since they were "uninvited" from Hollywood last time they were on because of the
identity theft charges levied against them. (btw the show comes on again today)

I thought, even if they could audition with their charges, they shouldn't be allowed since they made it to the "chair" episode back in season 5,
and you can't re-audition if you make it to that episode.

A lot of the Judges auditions are going on right now...auditions were held quite differently this year it seems. The July and August auditions were apparently just the initial and some producer rounds. I expect the rumor mill to start warming up any day now.

I auditioned in Philly. It was fun. I was there from 7AM-11PM. I was in one of the last groups of people to audition so I saw a lot of the contestants that
made it through (including the bad ones).

Uhhhh, I dunno stuff THAT specific... Dunno anybody's names except for a few people which I auditioned among.
I can tell you that I saw a few people which I at least know will be shown on tv for the Philly auditions. Be expecting another "Chicken lady." Except, I'm not really sure if it was a lady or not... looked like a drag queen to me. |

I know someone who made it through to Hollywood, though I'm afraid to post this persons name as I've been told they've gotten much more strict on
contestants names leaking, similar to Big Brother and Survivor, if they see your name posted online then you are out.
