I still say veto winner should choose the replacement nominee. Sure it lessens the HOH's power, but isn't that what would make it interesting? I would
totally reveal people's agendas.

Forcing the veto winner to use it may help make the veto concept more interesting.
I like the idea of having two HoHs like the first week of BBAS and when the two HoHs don't agree on nominations, they end up on the block. This concept can work until midseason when the numbers dwindle and can result in some interesting mixes in alliances. |

The veto is fair. Enough.

Predictably enough, most of the people in this thread are Jen lovers.

NEWSFLASH - she wasn't going to win anyway. She made herself look like an ASS the first few weeks with her self centered comments and Daniele jealousy. It was too much for her to overcome. That being said, I'd rather see that Sea Hagg'n piece of shit go this Thursday. |

Without the veto, Jen and Dick would have gone early and we'd have a BB1 situation on our hands. With the public vote having such a heavy influence over the house, and people being punished by viewers for being bad (or in this case being against the Donatos) are we that far off from BB1? One of the reasons I've been disappointed in this season is because I think next season may have people who act even more safe and bland because they'll be afraid they have another AP in the house. The veto saved Dani, but not Dick. Week 2, Dick would have gone if Jen had followed her gut and put Nick up instead of Joe. Last week, Dick would have gone if Jess had not put Dustin up. |

I am not a Jen lover (or hater for that matter) but I am sick of the backdoor bullshit. This season has strong personalities (Dick Jen, and Eric) but they are
hamstrung by lesser players (Jessica, Sea Hag, Jameka, Zach, etc). And because of this we are seeing supposedly strong nominations being torn apart by the
stronger (not strategically sound, mind you) players.
With Dick and Dani, a strong nomination, we saw Dustin get booted (thank you, Jebus!) simply because Eric was spanked into doing his job and basically strong armed a weaker player into thinking it was a good idea. There are just too many 'twists' this season. I think a season with enemies would be interesting and a season with America's Player would be interesting, but not both at the same time. That being said, I like the idea of the Veto winner making the nomination AND the rapid use POV. Thowing one or both in during a season would actually be a good thing. |

My suggestion from pre-season is still what I think would work best...

I actually like that method ILT. It prevents backdooring and gives the HOH less power over the final nominations, since the veto winner can take off any of the
three nominees (and there is no replacement.)

Do call us trolls, accuse us of making repetitious bitchings, and say that we have no self-awareness whatsoever. While we're at it, call us on our double standards and inane postings. |

Three noms, one automatically off would be great.
I'd love to see one week where everybody noms two people except for the HOH. Two with most noms go on the block, HOH decides who goes home between them. It would get old and people would get mad at the HOH every week, but it'd be a good change of pace for a short time. |

Take BB6 for example: if two of the friendship had been nominated and one of them had won veto, they'd use it and nominate one of the Sovs in their place and then vote them out, which means that the Sov who won HoH accomplished nothing. |
