What good is sending Pie down again? So he can hit .400 for Iowa and homer every other game? I'm done with the Pagan/Jones experiment in center. Just leave Felix in center where he belongs and let him adjust and quit jerking him around.
And we wonder why we haven't developed an everyday position player since the 1800s...

Derek Jeter is the sexiest SS of all time, and very well may have the sexiest swing of any SS ever.

He may have lost a step since '96, but show me any GM who wouldn't want this caliber of player on his team.

since july, jones is putting up a .340/.400/.485 line, why would you not want to play him?

pie, on the other hand, is putting up .222/.222/.333 since he's been called up!

for laffs, murton is putting up .297/.350/.568 since being called up. they'd actually have a good offensive outfield if soriano was healthy!

I want Jones to play in right field, not in center. Him and Pagan were both a joke out there.

Also....

Sources say Pignatiello will be called up from Triple-A Iowa to the parent squad today. Right-handed pitcher Sean Gallagher likely will be sent back to Iowa.

derek jeter is a better fielder than adam everett. jeter has an above average fielding percentage AND he does those awesome jump throws. he's pretty much the best fielder ever imo

Tim McCarver said so, and who are we to question him.

Jones has played much better defense in center than in right, and I was mostly referring to when Soriano returns!

For now, I guess there's not really any harm in playing him but playing an outfield of Murton/Jones/Floyd would almost certainly put up better outfield production so I really don't care too much either way!
