but EI proved Survivor still had its appeal (and that it didn't need shitty twists to make for entertainment).Come again? This season completely relied on twists. It introduced Exile Island and the Hidden Immunity Idol as regular features to Survivor as well as being the first to reuse a location while featuring furst time contestants. The season was entertaining but not because it was without twists.

Still enjoy it to some extent. Needs to revert back when there were more "real" people selected instead of actor wannabees and the such.

It killed me when Fiji started. The premiere was horrible and I immediately knew Earl would win. I watched until episode three, after Sylvia was eliminated I
cut the cord.

For me, it was when at Jonathan's boot in CI, when not only did the only entertaining player get booted, but on that survivor live, Jenna was bitching
about they're actually going to do a final three. I didn't believe Jenna when she said it, and the idea never occured to me before because it was so
outrageous and "unsurvivor-like." It was at that point when I thought "this isn't survivor anymore"
Also, honorable mention to Steph and BJ returning...I could sense something like a final three would happen eventually when I saw that they actually brought these two back. |

The very fist tribe swap in Africa. It marked the first time that random events would start ruining any kind of planned strategy. Silas hung his hat with the
Mall Rats and won out with them with the tie breaker at TC over Carl. What should have been a major victory for him and them, turned out to mean nothing when
he landed in the enemy's camp.
What really did it though was letting the ghost tribe back in the game and the return of booted players back in. It ended the most fundamental part of the game forever. |

EI was hands my favorite post-ASS season because of character development and editing, which for me, counts for pretty much 90% of what makes a great season.
And I just know it was all due to the fact that they had 16 people instead of 56 "diverse" robotic models.
So with that said, I'm very hopeful for China since they have a cast of 16 again AND got rid of EI. |

EI was so bleh. From Shane pretending to be crazy to get air time to the contrived storylines with Cirie and Terry even with a small cast it was painfully dull
before the merge and didn't pick up until the episode where Bruce quit . I would rather sit through some robotic models than have to watch anything that
happened on the LaMina tribe which should go down as the most uninteresting in Survivor history.

I think the worst was the ghost tribe. I don't think it was very fair at all. Then Survivor starting trying to have lame twists like Big Brother. Enough
already. It is a game that doesn't need any twists. It is fun to watch as it is.
