If Howie is from Miami, why does he sound like he's from Brooklyn.Where do you think people from Brooklyn go when they retire? And Cousin Oliver, I hate to quibble, but I was the first to note that CJ's confessionals were commentary on the other chefs. He's become the narrator for this season, and is definitely poised to win this thing unless Tre starts to emerge in confessionals in the next couple episodes. p.s. Yuku quotes fucking suck. |

Oh, Phuz1, I'm not saying that I invented the thought that CJ as narrator matched the judges. I'm sure it had been mentioned somewhere here in the
50+ pages for the season. Dale gets good narration, too, but I'm not sure to what end. I see him in the finals, but not necessarily winning.

Dale in a dunk tank. I just got back from Hasted St. Market Days and Dale was in Cocktail's dunk tank. He looks exactly as he does on the show. He was very
friendly to everyone and seemed genuinely nice. His little hispanic boyfriend was waiting for him with his stuff when he got out.
CJ aint gonna win. He gets alot of confessionals, but he's too snide in them especially since his stuff hasn't been all that memorable (good or bad) Dale and Casey get just as many confessionalsas CJ. Tre will most likely win, If not I'd guess Brian or a resurgant Hung. Dale is a darkhorse based on Ted Allen's comment. CJ's work isn't memorable enough. He'll go far, but that's as far. |

I also think Tre is going to win this. Not that I wouldn't like to see Dale or CJ win.
I would like CJ to win mostly because I'd love to see him do that crazy fist-pumping victory dance he did when he won the trip to Italy. So cute! |

Don't know if this was mentioned. During the QF last week, I wasn't really paying attention when the chefs were explaining what they did. All of a
sudden, I hear Howie say something. He says he macerated cherries, but I definitely heard a different word.

Yeah, I rewound about 5 times listening to Howie talking about masturbating his cherries. It cracked me up! I did, in fact, post about it, but it was one of

Tre does not win. He's going either this week or next. In a few weeks the challenge will be to create a first class airplane meal. Flight Attendants & Anthony Bourdain are guest judges. The top 6 are CJ, Brian, Hung, Sara, Dale & Casey. My pal got the distinct impression that Casey would get the boot. End spoiler.
